Huge shout out to Allie, Sheila, Liz and Jeff for an AMAZING night! My husband and I walked in off the street purely from a recommendation and consider ourselves forever customers. The staff was phenomenal, the food was spectacular and the environment just right. We cannot thank you enough for a beautiful evening and look forward to MANY more!

Stopped in while traveling through Philly. We sat outside on a beautiful spring day. The wait staff was awesome. I loved how it was dog friendly and had water bowls for the pups outside. We all got the TGB smash burger and thought it was one of the best burgers we have ever had. The aioli was the best I've ever had. So much garlic flavor! If I ever find myself in this area again I'm my life I plan on stopping for lunch.

Went here tonight for drinks and food. ‘Briar’ was taking care of our table and she was extremely good. She took care of us and kept asking in between whether we are doing ok or not. My pita bread was cold, she made sure she got new ‘warm’ pita bread immediately. Services and food are really great. I am happy with this place, will go again :)

Lovely date night spot, streaterie, not too noisy for a Thursday evening. First warm day out, great time.

I went here the other night for the first time. A friend recommended it. The food was delicious but the wait was too long. The hostess couldn’t tell me how long the wait was going to be, not even an estimate. In the end she told us about 30-40 min and they would call us. We never got a call so we went in to ask and there was still no seating. Other than that, the place is really cute. Everyone was super nice. I would definitely go again.

I hate writing this. I love Goats Beard, but today's experience was awful and if it were my first, I'd never come back. Our server took our order and then stopped by with drinks....good start and thats where it ends. The friendly neighbor had way too much lime juice. Then we sat, and we sat. When the runner finally dropped off our food, he didn't ask if we needed anything. I wanted another drink, but I guess not. My omelette was way too salty. My husband's burger was over cooked. Since I finished my drink, I moved on to my water. Then my water sat empty. I moved my glasses to the end of the table so any waiter or manager walking by could help. Not a single server or manager cared that their coworker was in the weeds. 18 minutes later and parched, our waitress stopped by to see if we wanted the check and boxes. I never got more water. No one ever asked how are drinks were or how are food was. As for the manager, shame on you for not teaching your staff to help one another or taking a survey of the dinning room to see what was needed. The table behind us sat with stacks of dishes, empty water, and half of the party left because they were over it.

The food was good & had great flavor but unfortunately the portion sizes were nowhere near worth the money. We ordered shrimp & grits through DoorDash and were shocked to see how small the portion was. The amount of grits didn't even cover the bottom of the container. We paid almost $50 for 2 orders & were still hungry after finishing.

Food was a bit overpriced. $16 for two biscuits with some egg and bacon on them. I get it for the area, but I'm in no rush to return. Not to knock the service! Very friendly staff.

brunch food was ok, but definitely not worth the price. its truly insane how little you get for your money. but the pizza was delicious. service was good but pretty slow. not sure how it was worth the added service charge. also how is the service charge not part of the already crazy

The wifey and I decided to visit Manayunk with no plans, other than to walk around and eat. A quick search and The Goat's Beard was promising. As soon as I walked in I said, "Yup, this is our jam," and our jam it was.The bartender was very nice and attentive. She had that bar on lockdown; it wasn't long after we entered the facility that the place got busy. She handled it though. The beer selection was decent but they did have a homemade IPA that was light, but delish. We weren't starving so we opted to share the pretzel bites and a kale salad. The pretzels were perfectly warm and perfect for dipping into the beer cheese...it was gooey and so great, I saved some to add to the chicken on my kale salad...I'm crazy like that. Now, I'm not one for ordering salads but this was, by far, one of the best salads I've tasted. The kale wasn't overly crunchy, but oddly tender, and definitely not soggy, and the blend of the dressing, butternut squash, raisins (or maybe they were craisins) and the bits of apples in there, amazing! The chicken was cooked really well...I recommend slopping some of the leftover beer cheese on there...so choice. The place got packed right when we finished. A true testament to a great bar! I will go back, but there are so many other places in Manayunk, it might not be right away. If you're in Manayunk on whim...this just might be your jam! Let's go.....
