Went to dinner with my family last night at the Olde Bar and we all really enjoyed our meals! The drinks were great, although bar service was a bit slow. The food was delicious and our server was very friendly. I'd specifically recommend the Salmon entree and the chili garlic mussels appetizer. Will definitely be back!

A great bar. Really friendly bartenders. The oysters were really good. The candle things were a nice touch. The place has some great history. I'd highly recommend sitting at the bar.

This is our new Friday night happy hour date night spot! The drinks were SLAM'N! The Rose Gold drink. Crab Fingers complaints the drinks. You will still need to order entrées. I was still hungry. It's Covid safe. The tables are six feet apart. We will definitely be back.03/24/24 We've been back numoures times to the Olde Bar. My man Jolly always rolls out the red carpet. We appreciate the great drinks, excellent food and attentive staff.

My friend was looking towards coming here for months since planning to come visit me from Pittsburgh but we agreed the food was unfortunately pretty disappointing for how expensive it was. The crab fingers were extremely small. The lobster risotto was also small in portion and very dry. The lobster pot pie was underwhelming in flavor. The only part of the meal that I enjoyed was the oysters. We ended up getting pizza after to satiate our hunger. The service and atmosphere were pretty good otherwise.

Ordered the raw bar tower, was not overly impressed with it. The oysters were a bit messy with some shell remnants left in them, not much flavor to them tasted as if they were pre shucked too early in the day or not very fresh. The shrimp were okay. The salmon spread was good. Service was slow and the waitress appeared a little confused. She thought she took our order already when she hadn't yet. Had higher expectations for this place. The location and building itself is very cool and unique.

The hostess asked if we were celebrating any special occasion and we mentioned it was our 52nd wedding anniversary and she went back to the bar and gave us champagne for us, very nice surprise and gesture!

Great historical building, like most places in Philly. Great bar scene with choice cocktails. Dining room lots of ambience and well lit and quiet. Service staff semi-professional. Very mediocre wine list. Frito Misto very good. Lobster risotto good.

The quality of food used to rival the ambience and history of this former icon of the Philadelphia Culinary World. Now “Lobster Risotto” arrives looking like a halved crayfish on top of sticky, bland, boxed orzo.

Place is just fine but their reservation system is out of sorts. I reserved happy hour online, learned my plans would change a few hours later around that time so I wanted to cancel. The system doesn’t let you cancel online, tells you to call. I call like 10 times that night a few hours before close and it all went to voicemail. I try to call morning of and it’s the same result. The website also said the reservation would hold for an hour and a half(?) so I figured I’m okay if I decide to change my plans last minute…which happened. either way we were accepted even after being an hour late. Thats nice but there was a snide comment from the host LOL.
