I have yet to have a poor experience here. They tend to have live music of many variety, a large whiskey selection. They also have 3 separate types of rooms, each has a different vibe.

Live music by SoundEVR was incredible, such a great atmosphere.Time would easily be a 5-star if they were organized behind the bar. Although the staff was polite and attentive, their credit card handling was sloppy. They had to rifle through multiple cups filled with credit cards to find my card, with no apparent labeling or filing system. The ‘credit card cup’ was within reach of the general bar, and would be easy to steal anyone’s card then walk out. Awkward end to a fun night since I occupied the whole bar staff to locate a credit card while they could have been pouring drinks for others.

Great whiskey bar with live entertainment daily. Great spot downtown. Food was delicious. Try the deviled eggs, crab cake sandwich, and salmon entree. Bartender Jamie really knows his whiskeys and gins (just to name a few)

We stopped in for a drink before dinner. We were lucky to have a couple of seats open up as we arrived. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great jazz duo. The drinks were great.

We went to hear the jazz group. Very disappointed! Our 2nd try. First time we went, 2 months ago, other musicians played. Also very uninspiring. Good food, though. Will not be returning. There are many restaurants in Philly with good food!

Great place, great food, and they have an exceptional happy hour that's really worth it ?? I had their classic cheese burger, and it was delicious also a couple cocktails and you can taste the liquor...

We are avid jazz listeners. We've been to many clubs in NYC, Europe and in other places in the world. My husband is a musician. This is our thing. Every place we go to, we check out the jazz scene. There aren't many clubs in Philly as it is so we were excited to come here. This place has the worst "at the door" service. If you are a foreigner, you will be given a hard time if you don't have your actual passport with you, which we obviously didn't have because we don't carry around with such an important document while walking around cities. However, we did have identification cards and licenses from our country and were denied at the door for not having a passport. This was our second time here. The last time was about 6 months ago and we didn't have an issue not having passports. Prior to arriving this evening, we were already at a different bar up the block and we didn't have an issue there with our IDs. Last week we were in NYC and didn't have an issue anywhere there. Maybe a scanning device or something that can amplify the watermarks and holograms from foreign IDs can help with this problem. We literally showed the bouncer the country ID and license and they both had the same DOB, same nationality, same address, etc. I mean, passports can also be falsified. We would never come back here. After spending the day watching the eclipse and touring the city, we wanted a nightcap, but we wouldn't be returning here after this kind of service. We even tried to pull up our ESTA travel authorization electronically but it wasn't working on our phone on the email attachment. So we just left. So much work just to buy a couple overpriced, warm beers. Not worth it. Sorry to the musicians because without them, this place wouldn't exist. (3 stars for the atmosphere from the last time we were here because aside from seating being limited in the music room, it takes forever for you to get drinks. You have to be overly proactive with the bartenders in order to get drinks, as, the ones behind the bar don't pay much attention to you. If you don't speak up, they won't even acknowledge you. We also had table seating that one evening prior and the servers take forever to come back to you if you want to order something.)Parking: I don't remember if the parking is paid or not. But Philly is horrendous with those violations so make sure you read the signs. The street is small. Parking is limited.

TIME is one of our favorites in Center City. Perfect spot for a pre concert dinner. Sophia was wonderful. Malbec and Pinot Noir were excellent though a bit warm. We had the deviled eggs, short rib (amazing), salmon, and side of Brussels sprouts. All were delicious. Somewhat disappointed the whipped feta is off the menu. Need more vegetarian dishes.

The food menu is limited but the liquor menu is extensive. The food is acceptable, but the focus is on jazz and deservedly so. Be aware that the restaurant enforces the two hour limit after which you will have to leave.

Classiest Jazz bar in Philly! Upscale great fusion and pure jazz rotating artist playing live music. The crowd is great too. Sometime it feels some people are not welcome here but most of Time it’s busy so not sure if the servers are just tired. But I never have bad music experience I was ever there. They do have great selection of drinks available too. So always good times!
