We went for a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. It was surprisingly not very busy and the volume of the music was perfect. We were seated immediately and our server was sweet. We didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for a single thing that we ordered and all of the food was phenomenal. The decor perfected the vibe of the night too!

Where to start? I guess with the obvious, chicken and bubbles, who'd have thought? I guess if Philly can have chicken and donuts, then fried chicken and champagne would fit right in. The fried chicken and the fried mushrooms were both fried to perfect (get half and half of each, it's worth the fried food coma that'll come with it). The chicken was juicy and had an abundance of fried crust. The mushrooms were fried umami joy. My friend asked if we could do all the sauces, and it was delightful to try each - I was a BIG fan of the beernaise and she took our server's advice and mixed the honey with the hot sauce for a tangy melange. Speaking of our server, I wish I could remember her name (sorry, I'm awful at names), because she was very attentive, but did not come over and ask how the food was while you were enjoying your meal and conversation. She left us to it, checked in discreetly, and made the overall experience that much more delightful. Check this spot out if you want an indulgent brunch or dinner.

As always, the food was outstanding, with the black pepper lavender honey sauce being the crowd favorite. The fresh veggie crudité was excellent as were the desserts... and the chicken, as always, is the stuff dreams are made of.

Great food, sweet staff. Definitely try the fried chicken, truffle mashed potatoes, pepper lavender honey

Delicious

Horrible service and very limited menu, allowing for no substitutions. Our skimpy Roquefort salad had hardly any Roquefort, and the onion soup was watery. Worst of all, I had to raid another table for napkins and utensils. I won't go back.

First time here with friends . Great casual dining atmosphere. The buttermilk half chicken was absolutely delicious; served in pieces so easy to share and the sauces were terrific. We had two sides cauliflower and frites and of course cocktails....a great dining experience and would definitely return.

Delicious meal served by a lovely girl of Egyptian heritage, who made it even more special by giving me a complimentary sweet to take away for my birthday. A real asset to the company.

Good place to hang out with buddies. Another spot discovered with the girls gang! They have a very limited menu. However, chicken is so crispy. Half of us ordered chicken sandwich and half poluet frit. Fried chicken comes with a variety of sauce options. We got hot sauce and honey lavender pepper sauce (this is way too sweet). Ordered a few drinks as well. Bon Coeur (was the best of all), le tiki( couldn't get the flavours at all), Choupette Spritz (was ok), and Queen's Entourage Non-Alcoholic ( nothing special about it)

The chicken was delicious ? , The Sandwich was great, the Cauliflower Gratin surprisingly tasted just like Mac. Sad to say the mashed potatoes were the weak point for me. But overall the meal was great and the service was top of the line i wish i could remember the young lady’s name who helped us, but she was very inviting and knowledgeable about the menu options.

This place used to be the Tria Taproom, a beer-focused entry in the Tria franchise, and I was sad to hear it had been replaced by a fried chicken shop. But curiosity got the better of me and I gave it a chance; I was delighted to discover that not only is it still owned by Tria, but they still have a great selection of beers and also cocktails. Rather than being a "fried chicken shop", they are a French-themed gourmet restaurant that has a speciality of fried chicken, and they still offer a beautifully curated selection of cheeses.I tried "The Sandwich" which features a breast of their signature "vadouvan-spiced crispy chicken" together with pickles Provencal, French onion dip and perfectly cooked fries. It was as delicious as you'd expect and, typically for Tria, the ingredients were balanced perfectly. Finally, the staff were friendly and attentive. Great experience.

Service is impeccable. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more friendlier maitre'd and waitstaff. The fried chicken is superb, though if your tolerance for salt is low, this may not be for you.

The ambiance is beautiful, it's kind of a glam French style and it has the perfect date night lighting but the chicken is mediocre at best. Only seasoned with salt and the sauce selection is terrible. The waiter didn't tell us the serving size so we wasted money ordering extra chicken that we didn't even like. The drinks are Good and Strong! Definitely a “let's grab a drink” place but that's it!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday in June (the 5th). At 12 pm it was wide open for us to pick a table of our choice. Our server was a lovely gal who was very informative. We ordered a rose champagne that was very good. For eats we had very good truffle deviled eggs. Next, we had the chicken sandwich as well as the chicken tenders with an egg on top. I loved the chicken tenders with egg and bernaise sauce. It was gigantic as well as so tender! More than a normal person could eat for brunch (except for my husband who put it away in no time). The sandwich was also very good. The bubbly went very well with the food, especially at brunch.

My wife and I's first visit to Bar Poulet was excellent. We got the half chicken deviled eggs and a salad. The chicken was very good. My son and I went recently and ordered the Chicken Sandwich and it was dry and not very good . The dijon sauce helped a little but even the bun was dry. The frittes (fries) were ok but in little tiny pieces. Inconsistency is what drives me crazy. Do I try again ? Probably not unfortunately .
