I wish I could rate 0 stars, all the money we have spent with this restaurant and I have come to announce my husband is FINALLY DONE!!!! I have lived nearby for 3yrs now, so I frequent them at least 3-5 times monthly. We have tried everything, different days of the week or times of the day to see if this helps with flavor. It was always hit or miss(more miss than hits). I am a foodie and can appreciate good food, authentic flavors but this place just doesn’t do it at all. Either its too salty from ketchup, or to spicy to enjoy the meal or just all the way disgusting. My food is never less than $40-$50 every time, I personally feel like they shouldn’t even be in business. This spot used to be the go-to for a as-close-to real Jamaican food, but that was well over 10 years ago. Don’t waste your money, just a warning…im so saddened

Today the first day I ever had ox tails sooooooo good n fried CHICKEN oh my I order from here food always good Ox tails was great sauce potatoes n carrats beans n cabbage , Thank you for good service ❤️❤️❤️

This Place Has Gone DOWN HILL I've been coming here since the beginning Back in Day The day When The Men Ran The Kitchen. Shorty, Paul, Christopher etc... The Rice and Peas Were so Mushy and Nasty you can tell it was several Days Old. The Chicken Taste Like Dry wood & the cabbage has a yellow tint to it and No Flavor. The Female Server had A Nasty Attitude. The Owner Sits in the Dining area on The Phone. They DON'T do the business they use to Since COVID I'm sure. Save Yourself and Your Money there are Many Other Jamaican Spots Throughout The city that Is way Better!

My favorite from Tropical Choice is the curry chicken or oxtails. This restaurant never lets me down. The food is always hot, ready and delicious! The quality of the food is ALWAYS A1! The owners of this restaurant are always polite and patient! LOVE IT HERE
