My fish was fried dry, no seasoning. The cabbage wasn’t done, had green beans and mixed vegetables in it. The plantains weren’t done and greasy. The “baked” Mac and cheese was box Mac n cheese with some sort of cheese sauce in it. The noodles were over cooked and it was disgusting. My friend recommended this place so I question our friendship. Talk is cheap but a picture is worth a thousand words. I should have known it would be horrible when I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for a piece of fish.

Since I've been coming here the name has changed to Oxtail (new management if I recall). Either way the food is still just as tasty and portions just as large!

Food was not great. Its old steam tray cafeteria style food. Super pricey for that $10 for a small 14-16$ for large portion of precooked food. I'm better off with Walkerswood at home....Definitely

I absolutely love the food here. The people are very nice. My husband and I went to this resturant the 2nd or 3rd day they opened. I have visited yhe restaurant 4 times since. So far we had the red snapper, curry chicken, curry goat, oxtails, collard greens, cabbage, sweet potatoes, fried chicken, red beans and rice, rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, and festival. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would eat here forever if I had unlimited funds. My favorite main course is the CURRY GOAT!

The food was delicious, and I wish I had more room to try other dishes on the menu. I ordered the j*** chicken, cabbage, and plantain. I highly recommend the j*** chicken. I will be returning again thank you.

I had the curry chicken with rice beans and cabbage. It was delicious. The chicken was perfect, wasn't dry and the rice and beans with cabbage tied it all together. I had the small portion, which was a good amount. Tight like a tick lol. I will be returning to try other menu items.

Yo this place is really good. The people are mad nice, the food is real tasty, and they pile the plates high. I got a “medium” plate of chicken that came with two sides and it was all flavor and is gonna feed me for like 2 days

I've been going there since they first opened and they're amazing! Literally been given out their Flyers that I collect every time I come there. Really can't let them go anywhere we have to support

Food was delicious, had a curry chicken with rice and greens. The food had great home cooked flavor with spice and a little heat. Definitely going again this week.

Back in West Philly we had a favorite Jamaican spot (Top Taste) and had been pressed to find one here in South. So glad we did! Tropical Sensations had great customer service (s/o to the nice lady who set up my order), and even better food. The Mac and cheese and the oxtail was my favorite. We also got the j*** chicken and sweet yams. No complaints. Great sizes. All delicious. Would happily recommend and you know we will be back!
