Normally Iron Hill is excellent! It was ok this time, service was slow and spotty but they were pretty overwhelmed because of Mother's Day. It was packed and many people waiting. The staff were very nice, just overwhelmed. I know next time on a normal day it will be its usual excellent time

We reserved a sit down table but then the hostess sat us at a hightop in the bar. I told her we wanted a sitdown table but she said, "oh they're all taken or have reservation". YEAH, WE'RE SOMEONE WHO RESERVED ONE. It was loud and uncomfortable and I think out waitress was new, she was at least not very good. One meal got a rice side that came out uncooked. Have you ever bitten into uncooked rice? I'll go back and give them another try but it was definitely thumbs down this time.

Everything about this dinner was way better than ever before. Food is delicious. Plated nicely too. Although it got busy, everyone was well attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Our server, Ms. Reilley, was terrific — friendly, energetic, helpful. Food & beverage were tasty, properly prepared, and well presented. We were especially delighted, actually ecstatic, that Ore House IPA was back on their draft beer list(!) Some time back was a regular on their list but has been displaced for quite a while now. Was glad to meet Matt the Brewmaster for this Phoenixville location and make my pleads for him to keep Ore House IPA as a regular for a while — might happen because it is one of his favorites! Overall, the consistency of the experience has been there over the years to keep us coming back for lunch at this well-kept brewery/restaurant. Keep up the good efforts, folks!!

We ordered takeout - Crab Cake Sandwich and Shrimp Bucatini. The food was excellent. It was first Friday in Phoenixville which meant that there was no parking close to the restaurant. I had to park in a permit only lot to run to the restaurant to get my food.

Although we had reservations for a party of 5, we had to wait for roughly one hour before our table was ready. The hostess, for whom we felt bad, was a high school kid who was overwhelmed. She had zero support from any managers . There was one waiter seemed to be the only one in the dining area. He was new and overwhelmed as well. I understand things are busy on First Fridays but this was not the first such event . Iron Hill has been here awhile and should have been better staffed. It was not the workers' fault that they were left unsupported. I guess poor management is to blame.

How can you be so unprepared on a First Friday? Food took forever to arrive and all six of my sweet potato fries were undercooked. No TP in the ladies room?! I've credited Iron Hill as helping with the resurgence of town, but you need to step it up.

Not typical for Iron Hill, open table was scheduled for 7:30, they did not seat us until 8:30. You could tell they were short handed, but there was zero follow up about when we would be seated without us checking. Service at the table was poor, took 15 minutes for our first two drinks and then we actually had to go to the bar to get the two other waters after another 5 minutes or so. Food was good. While we waited to be seated we did wait at the bar and the bartender Marisa was very pleasant and made the wait better.

Place doesn’t have long. Mark my words. Not a good experience across the board. Go somewhere else.

The food here is always great! From the burgers to the sandwiches to the salads, I have never been disappointed. We are always well taken care of even when they are busy.

The last few times I have been to this location I have been really disappointed. The last 2 times we came here we had received no service after being sat. I understand if places are busy, but there were maybe 2-3 tables in the entire bar section of the restaurant. We sat for about 10 minutes the first time this happened, and after lots of workers walked passed us but not a single one acknowledged or said a word to us. So we just got our things and left. We decided, months later, to give this place another shot… and the same exact thing happened again, I wish I was making this up. I will say the food is always good, but I’d rather support other restaurants where I’m acknowledged and can receive service. Very upsetting. Will not be returning.

Menu upgrades noted. Food was good and the service was attentive and timely. Server was nice enough to bring beer samples based on what we had ordered. All in all, a good experience for us,

My kids' meals came out wrong, and the wait time for our food took a very long time our server didn't give us utensils straws for our drinks or small plates for our croissants and preztel sticks. I don't think we'll be coming back.

Only came here because we had a reward to use. This past experience reminded us why we don't go as often. The food was cold- I honestly just assume their heating lamps or stoves were off or broken. We started with the potato leek soup and it was not even warm. The service was not attentive. The staff did not communicate with our waitress when we had an issue and needed to move tables, therefore our food was delivered to an empty table. We did come for the St. Paddy's day menu and after asking about it our server did give us the menu to look at vs on our phones email. I'm not sure why the host did not give us the menu from the beginning. I asked for the white grape basil non-alcoholic drink and it's fine they were out of white grapes, however our server did not take the drink off of our check. Do better iron hill.
