Sly Fox Phoenixville continues to be a favorite dinner spot for our family. Staff is awesome; we enjoy favorite beers and the laid-back atmopshere. Tonight we were time-pressed after sports- and I was missing a crucial ingredient to make dinner- so we headed there late. Lo and behold, a special was on the menu- Mediterranean Salad. This was seriously the best thing I’ve eaten in years of going there. Superbly grilled chicken, roasted chickpeas, balsamic onions, roasted red peppers, feta, etc on romaine- with an A++ lemon-tahini dressing. The rest of my family could eat whatever fried pub food they wanted, while I enjoyed every bite of this salad with zero complaints from them. Please keep the stellar salads coming. Thank you, Sly Fox!

We arrived to find the place maybe half full, not very busy though. The hostess was nowhere to be found and we had to be finally seated by the bartender. After sitting for a bit someone came for our drinks, while waiting for them another server came over to help us. After 3 min we were asked to order and after asking for more time our waitress disappeared for 20 min at least. After finally ordering our appetizers came out at the same time as all our meals. My boardwalk gyro was good, however my girlfriend ordered a cheese steak that was dry as anything. It was two pieces of cheese melted on a roll with some steak thrown on top. Overall the food isn't bad for a sports bar kind of place but the service was awful! We got the very least of it but there were people sitting for 20 min before anyone came over to them and then for another 10 min waiting for drinks. There is no organization to who's tables are who's or what orders go where. Whole we were there multiple meals came over to our table and we had to inform the server we didn't order that. Based on the service alone I wouldn't recommend this place and would most likely not come back. The Pottstown slyfox was much better.

For a pub closing at 9pm on a Friday night puts it at 2 stars in my book. I guess they figure they are a restaurant and not a pub even though their main stream business is a micro brewery.

Just stopped in here while i waited on my car, i sat at the bar. The food came quick and the drinks were fare. The wings were pretty good i got them with the Helen sauce which has a kick. The cheesesteak was really good for a restaurant, it doesn’t give pizza shop cheesesteak but it does the job i was not disappointed.

We ate there last night. I ordered a Chicken Gyro. It was extremely dry. My husband ordered a cheese steak with hot peppers. There were hardly any on there and we were charged $1 for them. They also have a Norristown Zep on the menu. They list capicola ham for the meat. A Norristown Zep is made with cooked salami. We won't be going back.

Limited menu, but the food is good and beer selection covers all the bases.

We had a pretty good experience stopping in here. It has a similar menu as the one in Reading, but not all the same items are available. It's been a long time since we have been to Pottstown to speak to that as well. Overall, it was good. The food tasted good. The wings are big. The burger was tasty. The sausage and peppers were good, too. The beers were good. There are definitely more beers that I would like to try. The place was clean and inviting. One thing that soured our experience, even though it's not the restaurants fault, was one group's overly loud wild children. It was enough to make us leave and not stay after the food was done.

The food was good, but not good enough to justify the terrible service. We came in tonight (Saturday) at 5 pm. It was not busy - only a few tables seated when we arrived. We were seated right away, got drinks, then waited 25 minutes before someone came to take our order. After that we did not see or speak with our server for almost an hour. At 6:15 my husband asked the hostess if she wouldn’t mind checking on our food since we had been seated for an hour and 15 minutes at this point, and our server had not come back to our table since taking our order. Ten minutes later out comes our server (who we realized now was also the bartender) with our food and a huge attitude. She proceeded to scold and gaslight us that we “hadn’t waited as long as we think we did” and there are “other people here, not just you”, implying that we were unreasonable in asking about our food. My husband said he wasn’t going to argue with her, but wanted to make sure we weren’t forgotten about since we’ve been here for almost an hour and a half. She didn’t apologize or even acknowledge that she had probably forgotten about us, since it’s pretty standard for servers to check on their table, get another round of drinks etc. while waiting for food to come out, and she hasn’t done that. She begrudgingly comped my husband a beer, and we ate quickly and left. There are so many good restaurants in Phoenixville that it’s not worth it to go to this one when the service is mediocre on a not busy night. Do yourself a favor and check out one of the many other restaurants in town.

First time here and I will say this, at least I wasn't totally disappointed. Since it is Friday, decided to do the fry-day special $2 off fish and chips. The order is two pieces of fish battered and fried to a golden brown. Served with house made tartar sauce and what seemed to be fresh cut french fries and coleslaw.Fish was flaky and well cooked, but wasn't allowed to drain properly after frying. The house made tartar sauce was very flavorful.I will definitely try this place again. After my 2nd visit I will post my final review.

The food and beer was excellent and so was the service. A wide selection of excellent local beers. Food is fresh, homemade, and well sourced enough to describe it as a brewery gastropub. The Al fresco area could do with a little greenery to help distinguish it from the parking lot.

Great selection of craft beers, good food, service and fun atmosphere! This time had the SRT Ale, but also recommend the Rte 113 IPA. The menu has a variety of options but we gravitate toward the burgers. They are a full 1/2 lb and you can add any toppings you want. Importantly for us, they also offer the Impossible Burger for the vegan in our family. They have outdoor seating during the nice weather and offer carry out stuff from the menu, or any of their beers in cans, or kegs!
