Went for breakfast and it was very good. A bit higher priced than other places but again, the food was good. My only gripe is that a small orange juice cost $4.

Met a friend here that I hadn’t seen in years. We chose Red Lion Cafe because it was equal distance for us to travel. Food excellent and so was the service. Waitress knew that we were reconnecting and encouraged us to take all the time we wanted. Very positive experience. Will definitely go there again!

Service is good. Food has gone downhill from times passed. Its just not the same anymore. I would prefer the Pine Grove diner over Red Lion.

What a quaint place! The service was excellent and so was the food. We had a pizza hoagie and an open-topped baked ItalianBoth were excellent. The restaurant is bright, clean and has an "open" feeling. I'm told all their baked goods are homemade ... and they looked delicious. That's just a reason to return!

The Service was great! The food was absolutely delicious. Started with the deviled eggs and pretzel both amazing. I had the Turkey Rachel and also delicious. We were are a party of four and everyone loved there food. Nice clean family owned and run amazing people met them all even the Grandma greeted us! Not to mention homemadeeven dessets! Great job we'll be back!Parking: Parking across the street HUGE lot!

The ham club sandwich on homemade bread toasted! It was delicious. Shared a pretzel that we dipped in cheese ? filled us up, had to take half our sandwich home. Also purchased a piece of lemon sponge pie and a cream puff ? the pie was good but the cream puff was the best I've ever had! It was filled with custard all the way to the edge, no hollow spaces at all! There was custard in every bite ?

We ordered to go and we spent $245 on 8 cheese steaks, 5 lbs of wings and 8 cream puffs and they added a $39 tip to our bill. I could see if we ate there or had it delivered but we drove a half hour to pick up and a half hour home. The food was good but not $300 good!!! Won't be going back there again!!!

..it's sad that the owners would allow this restaurant to go downhill after a lifetime of the previous owners, dad and mom had made their restaurant a booming business and for them to let it slip away from negligence and greed.. very sad... people, you will enjoy a better tasting and cheaper meal at hoss,s in Schuylkill haven.. so check it out and enjoy.
