I was pleasantly surprised by 7 twelve. The main reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because parking is valet only and it would be nice to have a choice; especially because it's not a restaurant that I would exactly consider high end although higher end than many.We had a reservation and we got seated immediately. When we went on a Saturday at 6pm, it was probably at half capacity but it got busy soon after.The atmosphere could be described as sophisticated but not pretentious. The bar is the main feature and I love the light on the liquor shelves, very dramatic. The walks are a dark blue and a dusty light blue I think, the lights were dim and I think they dimmed them even more as the evening progressed.Our server was very professional and the staff is clearly well trained.The food was good. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the glazed paired beautifully with it. The herb risotto was delicate and light.My husband got a medium rare stake, they make sure you cut into it and are satisfied with it and it looked perfect but when he got to the thicker part it was rare leaning on blue, which is how I eat it but not my husband's preference. The taste though was delicious and so was the chowder and the vegetables dou jour that that day were baby carrots.They have a decent selection of local beers and the feature cocktails are good. The 712 Smash was absolutely delicious.Prices might be considered high but honestly the food is so good that it's all worth it.

Food is amazing but a bit pricey. Also, on weekends they make you valet for no reason. Sign says voluntary valet but the valet people said it was mandatory. They were fairly rude about it as well. I could see valet for a city restaurant but not for a bar in pleasant hills. Oh well, I will be back but what jagoffs

Very nice atmosphere, service was amazing! Chef was on the floor, food runners were polite. good prices, and very reasonable. Large selection of drinks and bourbon. We sat at the first table by the door, I don’t love that it’s too close to the kitchen and front door, but that wasn’t a big deal. Cheesecake was fire, and so were our steaks. 5/5 recommend.Parking: Free valet Friday and Saturday!

Good service, the food was just okay for the price, the drinks were mediocre. I feel like the valet and dark atmosphere doesn't fit with the location. Also they put maple bourbon in a old fashioned, which I would say is a "bold" choice. I might go back, but probably not.

This is exactly what the area needed! The food is fresh made and perfect portions! Having grown up in the American Legion I am so very pleased to see how beautiful the inside is! The lighting is dim but not so much you can't see the menu. The ambiance music is just loud enough to hear but not at all over powering of the conversation at your table. The open floor plan allows for comfortable seating but you don't hear the conversations around you. The attentive wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and bar / food parings, and Chef Brian greeted customers at the tables as he personally brought dishes from the kitchen. There is free valet as well! Definitely will be back!
