Attended the Soul Food Sampler today with Jazz Conversations and it was simply a magical experience. A wonderful way to spend the last Sunday of Black History Month and really every Sunday to be honest.The food: So authentic it felt like we were literally in someone's home for the holiday! The literal definition of home cooked goodness! So disappointed! We wanted comfort soul food today & ended up with canned black eyed peas, canned yams, doctored up Costco potato salad, macaroni and cheese that was whipped eggs with a touch of macaroni, and what tasted like canned Glory Greens. The only things enjoyed were the wings & ribs.
