They were extremely accommodating of my many dietary restrictions! I reached out weeks in advance of my groups reservation and they were receptive and kind. They had an option for me at every course which I did not expect at all. Everything was delicious!! Will return for sure.

The food is fantastic. Dinner is a $45 2 course pre fix and its a no tipping restaurant !!Beautiful high ceiling space with great playlist but the lighting wasnt that inviting in creating an intimate space.

Dynamite restaurant. Great for a drink and a quick dinner or a full scale blowout dinner. Terrific wine list. Can go wrong with no
Bar Marco has been, and remains our favorite in the city. Everything is excellent from the welcoming service, to the cocktails tailored to your tastes, to the food and the atmosphere. If you want a delicious meal and good wine, this is the place.

First time eating at Bar Marco. Prefix menu with 2 courses. Tip is also included in the bill. I had the carrot sformato and the rigatoni. Both dishes were excellent! However, I thought that the portions were small for the price. I also thought that the restaurant needed to be freshened up, and that the service was in need of improvement. We asked our server for recommendations and she said that the menu changes often so she couldn’t really give one. I understand that to a certain point as she can’t try everything. However, it’s odd that she couldn’t comment on anything. She also wasn’t very friendly and neither were the gentleman that brought us our food. They weren’t rude but rather stoic which I expected more from a restaurant that Pittsburgh Magazine consistently rates as one of the best place to dine in Pittsburgh. I think if Bar Marco can improve on the atmosphere and service they’ll be top notch!
Did the winery dinner in the basement. From the initial contact with Justine to walking through the kitchen and greeted by one of the chefs to Michael, our server/sommelier everything was great. The food and pairings were dynamite.

I went to this place for a party they were having upstairs. The bar is on the floor that you enter in. I grabbed a drink before I went upstairs. Although the service was friendly, the drink left much to be desired. Expensive and I felt no buzz at all. The upstairs area, where the party was held was nice. Very clean, airy and roomy.
