Work in the area and eat lunch at Mikes often. Food is excellent! Menu is updated with specials that add variety as well.

A lot of years ago we came across here to visit the concert of the Rolling Stones. Nice place to warm up!

I went to Mike’s with my two children on a recommendation and the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back next time I visit Pittsburgh.

Mike's has an insane selection of beers, and the bartenders are great about helping you navigate it. Their food as always delicious and reliably consistent, too. (I usually grab takeout, and have a drink at the bar while I wait, but I have eaten in-house, too. You can create a mixed six pack to-go, too!)

This place is pretty cool. They have a massive beer list and a clearance page. The good is also pretty good.

2 times I've been here. First time was with the GF and 2 nieces to eat before the Carnegie Science Center. This past Friday was to get a pregame in before the Drake/JCole concert at PPG Paints Arena.Gouda Mac n' Cheese was incredible.A double of Yager Bomb on the rocks was generous.Met the owner my first time there. He was a humble guy who told me about his collection of all the pieces on the walls. Was fascinating.WILL GO ANYTIME IM AROUND DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH ???Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs if needed. But my 10/12 year old nieces had a blast and saw a ton of Pittsburgh history.

Just ordered wings here. An order is 14 wings for $20. First of all I got 12 drums and 2 flats. That's a big no no. Second of all they're jumbo wings and they came out under cooked. That place is nasty.

Update: Gave this place a second look while attending an event in the city. Based on my original visit, it was a completely different experience. The service was outstanding even though it was jammed. Our waitress took the time to explain a few beers to me. The food was outstanding. I will definitely return. Job well done.Original review: Why doesn't anyone smile? Great beer list. Apps were good. Beer was served in warm glasses but beer was cold. Service was good, with plenty of bartenders, but no one smiled. No one asked if the food came out ok. No one said "thank you". We ended up going to a bar a few blocks away and stayed the rest of the night. It's to bad. With all the bartenders they could of made a fortune if they were just friendly. Maybe a bad night. I don't think so.

One of my go to places in the burgh. Food is good, especially the filet and scallops on the hot lava rock. Beer is plenty and the customers are fun and friendly.
