A stroke of luck and perfect timing saw me driving by on a Sunday. Sign was up, no line at all so I stopped and grabbed 3 or 4 donuts. My cousins weren't lying when they said these were incredible. Crispy crunchy flavorful outside and a fluffy inside...amazing!
I almost don't want to leave a review because this place is so good!Better Maid had to be the secret spot for doughnuts in the city. Managing to catch them when they are open is like the bouncer pulling back the velvet rope and welcoming you into an exclusive club. I had heard this was apparently one of the best donut places in town, but I knew you could never trust their hours. Will they open? What time? Sometimes 6am, sometimes not til 9. Sometimes not at all. It's a toss up. I drove by today, which is unusual, but the city is flooded so I had to go this way home & I happened to see they were open so I turned around & went in.
