It was a really nice place to grab a drink with friends. Although there were multiple times we asked for a drink and it was unavailable but still on the menu. I wish we were told what was unavailable upon ordering since it happened 3 times. Still a nice place to stop and get together. didn’t try the food!
Went into Bierport on Saturday afternoon on a walk while I explored Lawrenceville. The selection upstairs was solid with some locals as well as foreign and limited brews like Russian River sours and some heavy pastry stouts...Basement beer grotto looked great but bartender was seemingly uninterested in being friendly or helpful. We were in the taproom with friends on Friday night . . . excellent selection as well as great fun and atmosphere, So, I lost my gloves that night, not knowing where, and dropped by today to check. Team member/Bartender Jason in the taproom was incredibly helpful and spent some time looking in the back for my brand new mittens which he found! This is a shout out for him! I'm headed back asap too given his explanation on the arrangement to order with Simply Burger across the street....read full review
