My favourite breakfast haunt in Pittsburgh.Grab a large pot of Steel Cut Oats (with berries and nuts) plus your choice of coffee. Then settle back to people-watch as the city wakes up.Staff are superb.
I was overnighting in Pittsburgh, and looking for a place to have a quick breakfast. Bluebird seem to have just what I was looking for. The breakfast sandwich ($11) is enormous! I had mine with sausage, but also comes with bacon. The large coffee ($2.60) was very hearty not a weak cup. Very friendly service. Seating is on stools at counters. Would highly recommend.

I had a lovely sausage gravy and biscuit for breakfast...it would have been perfect if I would've had utensils to use and a napkin for my mouth. Please ask customers if they need utensils because I am of the persuasion that gives them out without thinking about it.
