The food is the star at this neighborhood Indian restaurant. The butter chicken is excellent, but the southern Indian picks we’ve ventured into are AMAZING. The B2B House Special w/ chicken is our go-to w/ its caramelized onions, charred tomatoes & bell peppers - and super flavorful ginger/garlic brown sauce - OHLALA! Other faves: samosa chaat, garlic naan, vizag Kira (yum curry leaves!!), & dal. All totally reasonably priced. The family that runs it is so earnest and friendly - we just love giving them our business. We’ve mostly ordered takeout, but the other night we ate in the restaurant. It’s BYOB - w/ no corkage! The atmosphere is a bit spartan (eek, dropped ceiling), but they've don’t their best to warm it up and give it some personality. We just love this place!Vegetarian options: Quite a lot of veg options, & the owner at a nearby table recently was bending over backwards to accommodate a vegan. They’ll go the distance to ensure you’re happy!

So happy to have an Indian restaurant around the neighborhood finally. I really want them to succeed. PROS: friendly service, nice interior, some very tasty dishes. CONS: Some dishes are a little bland, none are particularly spicy, and the prices are a bit high for certain things. My biggest issue is the spice level since that's what I look for in Indian food. I'll keep going now and then to try new things and see if the spice level ever improves.EDIT 2024: Food has improved for sure. Max spice level is actually pretty hot. I'm hooked on their house special chicken.

Ordered takeout. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. The special was our favorite of the dishes we tried.

Amazing food! I had the samosa chaat & house special, and now want to be back to try the rest. It was pretty busy & the service was fantastic with even that. They do take reservations which may be the way to go on a weekend evening.

Came here while visiting Pitt with my family and it was amazing. Got the Chicken Biriyani and Samosa Chaat. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had! Definitely recommend, the servers were so sweet.

Don't let the outside of the place fool you. It looks small and humble, though the outside is as clean and neat as the inside! We were welcomed warmly by the owner (?). The inside of the restaurant is roomy and attractive. My chicken korma was fragrant, rich, and creamy with a little spicy kick to it. Our server was pleasant, and my companion and I enjoyed the pretty plates, bowls, and serving spoons. Everything was done with love and care. I had a lightly sweetened, multiple-spiced chai for dessert--perfect after the filling meal, as I had no room for a full dessert. We also tried the paratha, which was as flaky and rich-tasting as a croissant. I used it to mop up my delicious sauces. Will come here again!Vegetarian options: Most of the main dishes can be prepared with a choice of no meat (paneer), chicken, or lamb.Parking: Park across the street in the free Giant Eagle lot (use white-painted spots, not the yellow ones, which are for patients in the medical building). For safety, use crosswalk with pedestrian light at Braddock and Church streets (near the underpass for the overhead train).Kid-friendliness: High chair available. Not sure of kid-friendly food. But servers seemed kind to the one preschooler we saw.
