A friend had taken me here a couple week ls ago and I had one of the best dinner experiences I have in Pittsburgh. I love dinner and everywhere I go for travel I try a dinner. This is one on the best ones I’ve tried. Great service and the food was delicious with a reasonable price. My buddy had the breakfast pierogies with kielbasa. It looked amazing and if I go back, I’m trying those. I ended up getting the Brother Tom’s breakfast plate. And when I received this French toast, I was absolutely amazed! Bread was made in house, and it was nice fluffy and flavorful. Hands down the best French toast I had a very long time.

This is a great little local place. It's my breakfast go to. Prices are great, staff is great and food is good. old fashioned home cooked food. They also sell local made items like turner's and also baked goods, including their homemade bread sliced thin in an old school slicer.

My kid goes here frequently with his school and is always on me to visit. It's not Brother Tom's fault that the Highland Park Bridge has been a construction nightmare for years but it keeps me from going over there and only ever trying the treats that were brought home from aforementioned kid. They've all been delicious but I wanted to go and finally made it. Unfortunately, I was that person who rolled in shortly before closing and everyone working was still so nice. I ordered from the case and left with many, many cookies. I've also had the brownies and perogies in the past and have done to the conclusion you can't make a mistake in there. Everything is good and the feeling is really low key and homey. Definitely worth the bridge construction.

What a scrumptious breakfast and overall vibe of a diner. My meal was delicious - pierogis, kielbasa, eggs and toast for under $12 and the servers were so friendly and attentive. I loved my experience here and can't wait to go back!!

Apricot turnover was delicious. Don't find these often. Pumpernickel bread sliced to go. Highly recommend

The soup here is amazing!!!The baked goods are average and the same goes for the sandwiches. Get the onion soup. It blows regular french onion soup or if the water.
