Inventive without being pretentious. Food was delicious and our server, Lydia, was a delight. Recommend highly!

Perfect classy/divy/woody corner bar Oakland needs more of. Nice cocktails, perfect bar room, excellent (not just bar food) grub. Staff are cool. Great support for a Tuesday night.

The food was exceptional and we had a great time. The only reason I'm deducting a star here and there is because my daughter, who was there to celebrate her birthday, arrived with a half-drunk Starbucks coffee and the server insisted on taking it away from her while she was seated at the table. C'mon, guys, it's not like we showed up with a picnic basket. ?

Everything was just ok. Menu is small, portions are small. Some veg. options. Cocktails appeared to be the real selling point.

Everything here is kind of incoherent. They put a sauce on the chicken sandwich that totally overpowers it, and covers up the fact that everything else about the sandwich is not very good. The burger was forgettable. The perogies were very tasty at least, but the price point was off ($15 for 4). Server was great, but I think kitchen must be lacking in critical sensibilities. I would not recommend this place.

You’ll see this restaurant recommended on various sites. However, this is a decent lunch place at best. It is not among the best restaurants in the city. It’s an average burger joint dressed up as a fancier restaurant. If you are looking for a decent place to get lunch in the city this place is fine. But, it’s not worth seeking out.

I wasn't crazy about the menu but eventually settled on the fish and chips and it was pretty good! Not crazy about the lemonade but willing to try other drinks on my next visit. Waitress was very attentive.

Menu items are unconventional, but there is plenty of diversity for everyone to find something to enjoy. This is a great place for an informal dinner with a friend or friends. Street parking is limited, but there's a garage directly across the steet.

The burgers are great.

Friendly service a bit pricey but what isn't anymore I was eating on the breakfast side of the facility.. Haven't had dinner there in 10 years which is on the other 2/3 of the property.. which is more of a formal sit-down atmosphere. 50 years ago I would take my children for formal meals in the same location when the restaurant was known as ninos it served top quality food and had a great Piano Bar.. the years Roll by

We absolutely loved the atmosphere here. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. On his recommendation I ordered the mussels appetizer and fries as my meal. The portions were extremely generous and I took home enough for a second meal the next day. My friends ordered the hummus plate appetizer, pierogies, and a burger and said it was all delicious. We will definitely be back.
