Very nice inside decor.slushies. r the best.

My wife and I decided to check this place out for lunch and I'm glad we did! The owner was very sweet and made us feel welcome. The menu is limited but the food was delicious. The wines we tried were fruit based (lime, berries, etc) which is outside of our typical selections but they were refreshing and flavorful.

I searched wineries near me and Bygone Wines ? came up. Decided to try it on Mother's Day. The wines were very tasty and the Alfredo sauce that we had with the shrimp and fettuccine was amazing and awesome. My mom said she never had Alfredo that good ?.

We had a wonderful girls night out/birthday celebration at Bygone Wines last week. This hidden gem in Plum has it all; an inviting atmosphere, great hosts, delicious food (add the shrimp to your pasta dish, trust me!) and a great selection of organic wine. You'll have a tough time choosing, because they're all great! We split cheesecake for dessert and it was light and delicious. We can't wait to come back...thank you so much for a memorable night, we enjoyed every minute and morsel of it!

The hosts were a couple who run the winery and café themselves and were very accommodating and welcoming! We were offered multiple samplings of their various wines. They are mainly fruit wines but are not sweet. I usually like some sweetness in my wines and therefore didn't find most too appealing, but I did like the "lime" flavored one. My husband preferred the mead. We ate in their café and I really liked their turkey pesto panini sandwich. My husband enjoyed the charcuterie plate. Overall, we had a nice time, and we loved the chocolate mousse cake for dessert!

When I googled wineries around me this one popped up and my first thought was how did we not know about this winery. We thought we've visited every winery in the Pittsburgh and surrounding region of a 2 hour radius of our home in the south hills of the city.Well this one popped up and I said we have to go, but on a day that we can adventure to several other establishments that we haven't visited previously. This was our second stop of the day and we brought our 22 year daughter with us.We arrived the owner, gentleman was very nice and told us about his wines and why they're more unique than anyone around, hell more unique than any wine region that I've ever visited. We've visited a lot of wineries, but that is here and there. Anyhow he described that all of his wines are made our of fruits but not with sulfites and other preservatives. If you're on a diet and or you're a vegan, vegetarian, or just a health nut this is the wine for you. You can indulge in alcohol but a healthy wine, if that makes any sense. He did state that he uses yeast, which I know that alcohol can still form without the yeast, but their is a trick with the yeast to help support. We tried several of the wines and they were all dry which I didn't see that coming. I thought fruit wine sweet, hell no they were very dry. Maybe some were too dry with not a hint of sweetness, I'm a dry wine fan, so I liked. I'm a home wine maker but I mainly make dry wines from grapes, but have made sweet wines from fruits, love to do the tour and understand more of his approach as I find it fascinating. The owners were very friendly, we had a glass of the pineapple wine. Mainly because I love pineapples and tried to make a wine out of pineapple juice before dry and it turned out awful. This was nice. They have a young daughter who reminds me of our 22 year old when she was her age. She'd go with me on work travels, here Josie is cute and greets all of the customers by offering everyone a doll. She also thought I was my wife's dad. The beard makes me look old I suppose, compliment to my wife. Overall this place is a good stop, they have small bites which are incredible as we had the norm charcuterie board. I'd recommend giving them an opportunity, much different than any winery you will ever visit in the area and may anywhere.

As someone who has had a ton of wine, this place definitely wins for most unique flavor. Every bottle is interesting and delicious in its own unique way. Organic wines made in a tradition sense lends itself to anyone who wants to try something delicious and new.

I live up the road from here and finally got around to checking it out. And I'm so glad I did!!! My friend and I got these amazing apple cider and whiskey drinks and we LOVED them. We also tried some different wines, and ended up getting a bottle of caramel apple wine to take home. It was very different and very good. We also got a chance to meet the owner and she was super nice, and helpful. We did get a charcuterie board, and it was pretty good! Not a 5/5 but still good. Really cute place! Check it out

Love the little gem hidden in Unity Plaza in Plum! Bygone Wines has all homemade wines with organic ingredients and no sulfites. The real stuff and it shows in the taste! Get a bottle to go or grab a wine slushee!
