Fabulous pastries, particularly the flaky, flavorful cherry mele, my husband's favorite. They sell out quickly, so get there early if you can.

Absolutely amazing! Closest sandwich since Italy! Muffaletta panini, wedding soup and caramelized onion and gorgonzola pizza. Everything was super fresh and flavorful!

Food is delicious! No great place to dine in unless eating outside. We keep coming back every time we are in Pittsburgh.

This place is amazing, the pizza is so awesome, the baked goods are so good, they have these cherry and cheese Danish type pastry, they have a specific name i forget, but WOW they are amazing, there is cherry, apricot and a few others and I'm sure they are all as good as the cherry....The staff is always awesome too ?

It's hard to find good a good cannoli and Colangelos has them. The orange pistachio ones are particularly good, as are their other pastries. Service was super friendly and this definitely seems like a place that's been around forever and is popular with locals.

Phew this pizza goes HARD AS HELL. It's like...just perfect. $4.50 for a great warm slice as you walk around the strip. Divine red sauce, crust that's light and cracks a tiny bit in your mouth, and this crazy melted cheese sensation. Super highly recommend going here ASAP.

It’s a FOODIE’S FIND OF AN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN BAKERY ???, a rarity in Pittsburgh despite many that claim to be one. This is mainly a takeaway counter with a small outside area, possible only on good weather. The REAL TREASURES ARE THE BAKED SAVORIES AND DOLCES.- The Torta Rustica, both the vegetarian and meat???, is as Italian as it gets. They bring fond memories of Napoli and Southern Italy.- The Sfogliatella is on the spot of its Santa Rosa origin ???. The laminations are very well executed, and the creamy filling has very muted sweetness, the two measures of mastery of a culinary craft of this very iconic Italian dolce. —- simply WOW.- Their Cannoli, chocolate and orange pistachio, are classic Sicilian ???. Crispy tubes, crunchy choc chips and pistachio all married together with the silken creamy filling of very muted sweetness????…. Very much the opposite of the common overly sweet horrible americanized imitation.Service is outstanding.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian items on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Limited vegetarian optionsParking: Paid parking in surrounding areas.Kid-friendliness: Children welcomed.Wheelchair accessibility: Doorway and sidewalk tables accommodate wheelchair.

I LOVE COLANGELOS - when I worked in the strip, me and my coworkers would walk here all the time for a pick-me-up, and it never failed. If you want to find the best lady locks in all of PA, go to Colangelos. They also have amazing soups, pizza, and pizza roles. Anyone who's ever in the strip: this is a great place to go to pick up some food for home or eat it outside at their cute tables!

Lovely service! The staff was super friendlyTried sfogliatelle and orange -pistachio cannoli. I loved most that these were not overly sweet pastries.I went just for a snack but realized that they also have homemade pastas, soups, and focaccia - can't wait to be back to try more stuff from their menu!!!!Vegetarian options: Veggie options are nice (pasta, focaccia, sandwiches and all the pastries)

Ive lived in Pittsburgh a long time and frequent the strip, but somehow I never had their pizza before December. WOW was it good. We got a selections of their cuts and loved every variety. The crust is light and flaky, good sauce, and great pairings of toppings. My mouth is still watering thinking about it.
