It doesn't get much better than a jazz club. Although $$$$, food is great, staff is great, jazz is great. One of the best spots downtown.

It was a very nice experience with a live band. 3 different bands the night I went, and the talent was pretty good here. They are seasoned bands that I've experienced. The staff is very attentive, and we lacked nothing but the end of the night. The food was delicious with attractive presentations. A unique drink menu leaving for something to explore. Very nice decor and ambiance. A charge to be seated at a table near the stage, which is perfect for date night or something more cozy. Though a bit tight, the clientele fit the atmosphere, so it doesn't feel as tight. For more solo nights, still a comfortable scene. As well bar seating is available that still has visibility to the stage if you don't want to be completely in the mix. Recommended experience!

Brought 10 friends here only to be harassed by the owner. Everything was wonderful except for when we ordered a bottle of wine, they were out of the first two we ordered so the owner came over to give us other options and we ordered a bottle of wine. It then took 45 min for our wine to get to our table. When it came time to settle the bill we asked our waiter about comping the bottle because of the delay. He stated he would get the manager then another staff member came over and said they were happy to discuss the bill but we needed to leave our table. We asked for the manager again and she came over and asked what the issue was, when we tried to explain she told us we were talking at her and rude. She quickly blamed our server and said she would remove him from the shift, we attempted to tell her it was not our servers fault at all. She then tried to tell us about her knowledge of wine, which was not the point. Our bill was almost $1000, it’s not like we wanted a free meal. I previously really enjoyed this place but will not return since the owner is argumentative and throws her own staff under the bus.Update: per the owners response you can see she is very rude. She stood there holding the credit card while berating us instead of running the transaction and letting us leave. We never said we wouldn’t leave, we wanted nothing more than to get out of there. She never took accountability either, blamed it all on the waiter, who I later spoke to and informed him it was not his fault. As we left she stood by the door and waved us out of the door. After we left we realized we were charged for an extra entree, hence why two people went back to re-discuss with her. Poor management at best and lack of professionalism. Just read her responses on bad reviews.

Do not go to this restaurant. The owner is rude. Waiters are great but she blames the downfalls of this restaurant on them. Extensive wine menu with limited availability. Selected 3 different wines before we selected one available. Once that one was selected it took an hour to receive on a 2 hour limit on the table. Would not recommend this restaurant. The owner was incredibly unaccommodating or concerning they were kicking us out for the next guests after the experience. Would never recommend to anyone. Especially for a large party.

We went here for the live jazz performance but the audience and waitresses were so loud that the performance is merely a background music which no one is actively listening to. The performance was nice but not much different from a playback when the table beside you is four people talking together with a loud voice. Also the waitress weirdly pushes you towards ordering food and more drinks, we went at 5pm (not a drinking or meal hour I believe) hoping to listen to some music and chill out, we ordered two cocktails and we didn’t need any food but she kept asking us if we wanted to order food while we told that we do not.I would not recommend this place if you want to chill and listen to music, however if you want to have some food while an unappreciated band of musicians are playing in the background and a waitress with an attitude, go for it.And no, I am aware that the reservations are for food, we did not have a reservation and we went there as walk-in. So ordering food was not said to be mandatory.

Disappointed! While we have been here before and absolutely LOVE the atmosphere and the great jazz, we both felt that they must have changed chefs or at least the menu. We both like spicy food, but the menu we had that night contained dishes that were ALL spicy... not a single other option, no soups, and something I've never seen at a place serving entrees: no bread, crackers, or anything similar. Even our waiter said that they've tried to tell the chef to tone down some of the heat. There were girls walking around refilling water glasses constantly!! I truly hope that this gets corrected. Otherwise, go for the drinks and music and skip the food. Note: the two dishes pictured: one very unappetizing presentation noodle dish and so spicy I couldn't even eat half and the scallops were ridiculous and incredibly overpriced.

Ordered the pork belly (very salty but good) & Grilled Shrimp (fresh, juicy, and delicious) + C'est Si Bon (Fig Infused Henny got me & didn't disappoint). The icing on the cake was the jazz band & specifically Pittsburgh's own legendary percussionist & drummer THE Roger Humphries.Such a refreshing & surprising treat for jazz& eats in Pittsburgh.ESPECIALLY during Black History (Year ?❣️)Small Note:Why!?!??? Are the water glasses so tiny?Consider offering more than tap water (ie- sparkling or still bottled)
