My husband and I both got soups and sandwiches today and went home and he took a bite and there was a huge hair in his sandwich I went to go take the sandwiches back and the soups because that's disgusting especially during Covid right now having freaking hair on your food and I get there at 3:52 they close at four and the lady is still there and she refuses to answer me. All I wanted to do was return my nasty food and get my money back and they aren't open now until Monday and they don't have an answering machine where you can leave them a message and it's super freaking frustrating paying $20 for some sandwiches and soup and some ladies nasty hair in it . Whoever worked on October 23, 2021 should be fired for poor customer service and closing early if your business says you're open till four you should remain open until four.

We drove-through Sandwich Express for two sandwiches, the Corned Beef / Sauerkraut and Zesty Garlic Turkey. The sandwiches were good, fresh bread and fresh ingredients. The service was fast and friendly. I liked the available bread options. A good, solid contender. Four Stars.

This places service was completely inexcusable and I feel like I was cheated out of my money, I have been racially profiled as a white man and the food was below average, this place is a den of evil and after trying this below average food, I visited Burger Basket across the street, I got great customer service and my race was not taken into account at Burger Basket. And quite the Delectable food. I will get my revenge Sandwich Express. Mark My Words.

Honestly inedible sandwich. Well, I could have eaten it but I really didn't want to. I ordered their veggie sandwich and asked for cheddar cheese. It came without any condiments and consisted of just cheddar cheese, bread with no Mayo, tomatoes and very wet lettuce. Tasted like nothing. I think this sandwich could have at least had Mayo if not maybe some pickles and onions. I don't eat meat and was hoping to get their garden ranch burger but they were out. So if you are a vegetarian I would be careful about what you order here.

I have gone by now 3 times to order food during the modified hours to have no one take an order. I love to eat here but it is hard too when the staff won't even take orders, when you can see them in the business.

Ordered 12 sandwiches for a work party. Bread on the bottom was stuck to the bottom cardboard so they weren't really even edible as a sandwiches anymore. I was a little bummer
I ordered the zesty garlic turkey sandwich and also the garlic fries and I love that the bread was nice and warm everything tasted great I loved the garlic sauce. The garlic fries are nice and warm and thick, very good. I love that they have a drive thru. Wish we had a sandwich express in Albany. I'll be back once I'm in Salem again.

So upset... I love this place and so disappointed with my sandwiches I got today.. the bread was hard and cold like they used day.. or several days of old bread... ugh!!! Couldn't even finish it because the bread just fell apart.

Haven't eaten here for awhile and remembered they had a good pastrami sandwich. Only orders to go because of COVID 19. So I place my order, and clearly there is a communication problem between myself and the order taker. When I asked for sides, she stated their bread types. So I had to reiterate my question. I got my food and got back to work to eat it. One slice of pastrami, are you kidding me? I remember back when the pastrami was piled on. More greens than anything. I would've ordered a veggie sandwich if I wanted veggies! The sauce with the sandwich was good. The garlic fries were awesome! I don't know if this business changed hands, but Salem has a lot of other places for sammiches, places that don't skimp in their meat. Maybe it was an off day? IDK. I'll go to a different place next time, but will be back for their garlic fries.

We ordered the bbq bacon chicken. They were out of white bread, so chose honey wheat bread instead. We couldn't eat the sandwich because everything slid out from the amount of sauce. There was almost more bbq sauce than bread. The chicken and sauce were cold, which is unexpected with bbq sauce. In addition, there wasn't any flavor beyond bbq sauce. We were so disappointed that we couldn't eat the sandwich and threw it away. The customer service is also lacking. Not worth it.
