Food was great, but second time coming here and they are closed at 2:50 on a Wed. No sign, nothing. Wasted my time and energy walking down from the Hospital.

Not the most flattering photo, but this sandwich rocks. Simple but ridiculously good. Makes me wish I liked olives.

I'm visiting Pittsburgh with my girlfriend and we decided to try out this deli. We got a Teresa's Arrosto diManzo and a Tutti. Portions are generous and they come with a pickle spear. We toasted on the pickle and both bit in. The pickle was perfect. The Tutti had a nice balsamic dressing and I polished it off fast. To my girlfriend's chagrin. The Arrosto had a nice horseradish dressing. It was amazing. Definitely enjoyed my time here.

We can't really rate it. We walked a mile to get there. Hours said they were open until 3pm. We arrived from the children's museum, after not eating since breakfast, at 2:30pm and we opened the door and they said they were closed. It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't go out of our way to get there. We wound up going back and stopping at the Federal Gallery Restaurant and had expensive, but awesome food.

Deli on North is a super cute quaint little deli on the Northside thats feels like its been there for many, many years (E. North Ave.) We walked in and it smelled delicious! A whole case of Boars Head Meats and cheeses a well as homemade salads, chicken, tuna, egg, coleslaw etc. I got the "Famous Chicken Salad" a blend of shredded chicken, celery red onions, cracked black pepper and a just the right amount of moisture so its not runny nor dry. I also got the coleslaw-just a hint of sweet and vinegary with crunchy cabbage and carrots. There seemed to be 3 employees today 2 making sandwiches and 1 taking orders while packaging up salads from the cold case. Reasonable pricing for the amount of food and super fast! I will coming back tomorrow for their soup of the day: Lobster Bisque!

Friendly, prompt, well portioned sandwich. Grab a meal and take it across the street to the park. We visited the Aviary after.

Fast, fresh and delicious. I'm slightly ashamed to admit I live just a few blocks away, but this is my go-to workday lunch spot on Uber Eats when I'm having a busy day and want a sandwich. My proximity helps but I swear it arrives at my door in 15 minutes every time. My favs are the Pasquale and the chicken salad, and I occasionally enjoy trying the different soups of the day. You really can't beat the freshness of a good neighborhood deli, and this one nails it every time.

Deli on North Ave. (and their location on Butler St.) are seriously one of my favorite sandwich shops. I've only ever ordered ahead online and gone to pick it up in store. They are spot-on with their timing and usually my order is ready within 15-20 minutes. Parking is tricky at this location but usually you can find a spot on Federal St. to run in. Avocado Blue Panini ($8.25): Wow. The turkey is really fresh and good quality. It had the perfect amount of avocado pesto and honey mustard. The blue cheese is just the cherry on top. All time favorite. I am so sad I didn't get a picture of it but it was that good - I couldn't wait. Pasquale Sandwich ($9): My boyfriend got this and said it was incredible. Again, really fresh & quality deli meat and he pointed out that the roast beef specifically was top notch. The Deli's special sauce pulls the entire sandwich together. Wedding Soup ($4.25): Really good! Exactly how I was expecting it to taste. Great portions with the noodle to meatball ratio. Side note: Despite both of the sandwiches having sauce, none of the bread was soggy! I know that can sometimes be a problem when you order things like that to-go. Overall, the pricing is definitely a great value for what you get. Every staff member I talked to is very friendly. I love the neighborhood spot vibe (it's been there for years). As I'm writing this, I'm thinking that I'm going to order again for lunch today!
