Place is trash and drinks are overpriced. My wife and I saw a big mouse running to our table as we were eating! Avoid this restaurant by any means!!!

Went to the Dive Bar on Saturday November 18, 2023.With a party of 14people, the service was poor and the food was just OK. The air conditioner was blowing cold air. Asked one employee to turn up the heat. Who want to dine in a cold atmosphere. Again, finally asked another employee to turn up the heat. Iwas told if they would turned up the heat. The furnace would break. Finally, someone did turnup the heat. One server for a busy Saturday night plus to-go orders equate to slow service. I will not return.

Went to Dive bar Wednesday night 10/18/2023 with four friends. We would go here to eat two times per month. Drinks and apps came very quickly then things went downhill. Four of us ordered wraps took close to an hour and a hummus wrap didn’t come out. My $16 salmon wrap had more avocado than salmon.Think I’m scratching this place from my list. I noticed no responses to other bad reviews I guess they just don’t care.

My favorite so far is Dynamite shrimp & steak salad, mac and cheese is also good far as I have tried. Blake (bartender/server) is great and attentive and easy to talk to ?

I love Dive Bar on Thursdays for Karaoke! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are a great complement to the incredible Karaoke DJ Maggie! She is the best Karaoke DJ in Pittsburgh! Don't miss it!Vegetarian options: There are some tasty meatless options hereParking: Parking on either side of Braddock Ave out front of Dive Bar is free!

I called before going in - I wanted to order to go-no answer. Bartender somewhat lacked. I sat at the bar for a few min before being helped as he was communicating with patrons at a table. At this time he also answered the phone. Also assumed I wanted only one drink upon closing out my check/bringing it to me. Food was EXCEPTIONAL! I opted for a chicken salad to go. Perfect amount. Was very FRESH. I enjoyed this location for food ????.

So the food is typically solid. We definitely enjoy the occasional trip to Dive. The reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the last couple times we’ve used their pickup service the wait time for food is pretty extensive. I can understand when the place is slammed, but our last experience was when there were maybe 5 tables and no one at the bar. When we walked in, a server immediately checked on us and went to check on our order (which was a sandwich and a salad). We heard nothing after, waited 10+ mins past the expected window (on the order slip) and when we got our food it was lukewarm at best. Dine in - typically a much better experience. Take out - you’re rolling the dice.

I came here and ordered a sandwich that was not what I ordered, apparently it was the right sandwich, but the meat in it was really chewy and the sandwich was thrown together in a sloppy way.The waitress was really nice and helpful. The manager came over to speak to us, I was thinking to apologize…but she said, “No, it was the right sandwich. We had to throw that away.”Ok…whether or not it was the right sandwich, it was really gross tasting. We left feeling weird about this interaction.I have liked different dive bar and grilles other than this location. I cannot see myself even remotely returning.

Pretty good bar food, if not a bit inconsistent.

Service is stellar! Enjoy lunchtime trips here for quiet meetings. Not too busy in-house during the weekdays. Staff was accommodating with requests. I ordered a salad, sans meat, which came out with bacon on it. They remade the entire salad vs. just scraping the bacon off. Shows me they value their customers.Vegetarian options: Not a ton of veghead options. The ones they do have are worth the visit. Also, they mentioned I could sub roasted portabella mushrooms instead of proteins on salad. Opens up a large away of items that fit the bill.
