I was so excited to finally make it out to Eleven ❤️Eleven is a five star restaurant all the way. Loved being greeted by the fireplace as you entered. On a rainy day it was very comforting. We were seated upstairs overlooking the bar and though I don't have any photos, you need to go see it for yourself.JR, he's the one with the fabulous hair, took wonderful care of us.We ordered the salmon and scallops and beet salad. They were very tasty and filling. We did split the candy bar dessert.I was very excited that I got to try a glass of Pappy Van Winkle 20-year-old bourbon. It was fabulous. Thank you JR for suggesting it.I've decided I'm going to become a regular here. ❤️❤️❤️?

Service and Atmosphere was second to none, the Tavern Burger was delicious and you got a great size service for the money... the braised short rib was just okay. The cheese tray and bread were also delicious.

Really good place for some deserts and steak. The chicken dumpling was pretty bad though but the pork belly was amazing. The candy bar was really good and had a lot of variety to it. Mocha creme puff was also great and very smooth. The creme brulee was Cinnamony and banana-

Of the 6 dishes we ordered, our group’s favorites were short ribs and Ricotta Cavatelli, which was easily one of the top 2 pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a good night and I’d definitely eat here again, but I’d skip the desserts next time. They were beautiful but taste was a bit underwhelming.

Complimentary bread to start and a nice truffle to end are both very good. The Risotto was inventive and fantastic. The tuna tartare was fine. The presentation of both the pork chop and salmon were great and their execution was solid. The Banoffee Crème Brulee was clever, tasty and light. The cocktails were solid. The espresso at the end was necessary. And the service was pleasant.

I'm very disappointed that they were unwilling to accommodate my friend's dietary restrictions. They were unwilling to make even small adaptations for dishes to not have cream, and when they brought the end of meal chocolates, there was nothing for her. It was demeaning.

We arrived at 7 pm. It was a Monday. The restaurant was mostly empty except for a large party next to us. The wait staff ignored us for 35 minutes. We were upstairs. Not one person stopped by the table to say we are short staffed etc. all avoided eye contact. I finally asked could we have some drinks please. 10 min later our drink order was taken. I then had to ask for bread. When we finally got our food it was very good but this is not how you treat customers. All one person had to do was say we are behind because we have a large party!!! Even though we saw at least 6 different staff ignore us. Please do better. Or don't take reservations. We were with out of town guests in for cancer treatment. Not a good appearance.

Stepped out to start celebrating my birthday. Decided to stop there after usually driving by and watching people enjoy themselves inside.Had a seat at the bar and waited forever to order a drink. Started to leave but waited it out.The young ponytail attendant was exceptional. She engaged me in pleasant conversation and made my delicious cocktail. We talked about my relocation from DC, and her family's plan to visit the DC Smithsonian Zoo the next day. We discussed the the dark environment and the popularity of the restaurant. I enjoyed her and another cocktail. I had a nice time.Would have stayed longer but it was my birthday, and I had bar hopping plans.

I was catching up with a high school friend and we talked to the restaurant cleared out not realizing they close at 9pm. They didn't rush us out at all - we were there until 10pm! Our two waiters were the only staff left waiting for us to finish. That's service!

A solid experience. We had a private room for a party, which worked out perfectly. The food, drinks, and service were all great. I'd especially recommend the short ribs, which were fall off the bone. The tuna tartar was also great, as well as the oysters.....Oh, and the scallop on the seafood dish was also divine. It's hard to run a restaurant of this size with this kind of quality, but it looks like the owners of the franchise have the recipe down.I'd certainly recommend this place, and would likely want to go back. The only thing i can't comment on is the price, cause our friends paid for the group. This place gets a 4.5 star rating in my books, but since google only does 4 or 5, I'm going to give it a 4, just cause I reserve the full 5 stars for the truly exceptional places.
