Waited an additional 30 minutes past our reservation time, which happens and it's not staff's fault so we weren't really upset about that. But everything was incredibly expensive for what it was, and not great for the price. $6 for a cheap bottle of beer, $65 for four small scallops, $55 for rubbery, salty filet mignon and ONE small bite of a potato. The food was in very small portions, a few bites of a main dish and no sides, no appetizer or salad/soup without another big price tag. Left hungry and disappointed, significantly too expensive for not great quality/taste. You're paying for ambiance/appearance basically. But it was also super loud, music, large, excessively loud groups... we wouldn't return. Just something to be mindful of, you won't get much to eat but you'll pay a high price for an experience you may or may not enjoy.

The hostess went out of her way to give us a good costumer service. However, we had a show to go to @8 pm. We sat down to dinner @6:15. Our food came @7:40. We hardly had time to eat let alone enjoy it or digest it. Service was extremely slow. The portions were small for the price they charged. I don't mind the small portions, but mind the price they charged for them. There was one vegetarian option for main and no vegetarian options for appetizers.

Excellent food. Great cocktails and wine. Charming service. Steak tartar appetizer, filet mignon, scallops and Brussels sprouts were all delicious. Wildflower cocktail was very tasty with a good kick. Super Tuscan wine was full-flavored but not too heavy or tannic. Prices are a little high for Pittsburgh but ideally located by the Cultural District.

Despite the reservation, I had to wait for more than 10 min to be assigned to my seat. It was an isolated seat so it took several minutes to be greeted by my server. But, the food was great.

Fl 2 made my night so special! I wanted to host a dinner to ask my friends to be bridesmaids in my wedding. Fl 2 was very accommodating and their staff was SO kind! They reserved several tables for our bridal bags to sit and a large table to eat. I was able to bring my own floral arrangements to increase the ambience. Very nice service and the food was great! They were so generous to my party and provided complimentary champagne for a toast. 100% recommend for a cute place to dine and have a girls night! Such an adorable vibe!

Always a solid choice for a downtown bite. Been here long enough to eat at Fl.2 a number of times over the years, and it never disappoints. Beautiful decor and view from the second floor of the Fairmont Hotel. Perfect choice for dinner before a show at Heinz Hall, or a drink after.

We went before a 730 show at the Benedum and the server rushed our order to make sure we got in before a large party. In the end, though, our entrees arrived before we finished our appetizers and we were basically done with dinner inside a half hour. Her intentions were good but the outcome was a fail. When you're paying $60 for 3 scallops (RIDICULOUS), you don't want to be rushed. We sat down at 6 pm. We had plenty of time. Also, at that price, they should be the best scallops you ever ate in your life and they were fine, nothing amazing. The food was fine overall, but at those prices, you expect the food to be better than fine and certainly the service should be better. Wouldn't go back. Also, the acoustics are kind of unpleasant. It was loud even though it wasn't that crowded. We've been there a number of times over the years and I always want to love it, but I think maybe we're done after this experience.

The place is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Our server, Katie, was perfect. Very polite, kept us abreast on our orders and was very attentive. The food, however, was not near what we expected. Several of our meals were room temperature, not very well displayed and the salads were OK. We've been to this restaurant many times over MANY years and sadly, its dropping "Star Ratings" with us. Maybe these review will help.

First time eating at fl.2 and it did NOT disappoint. Had a wonderful lunch ( vegan burger was incredible ) but mostly importantly had INCREDIBLE service. Deja was an absolute pleasure and we were honored to be at with her - kind, patient and an overall joy ! Please acknowledge this woman's hard work as she is the reason we will be returning ! xx

Walked in door and first thing we saw/heard was a DJ playing music...too loud and (in our opinion) not in keeping with a high end restaurant...we came to eat, not dance. Oh, and it was 6:00...perhaps at the tail end of the dinner hour...but not at 6:00 Otherwise, service was good, not great. Servers were wearing Levi jeans and rumpled shirts, etc. One server, not ours, was quite loud (maybe to talk over the loud music ?). Food was really good. Pricing was a bit high.

I was there this past Tuesday (3.19.24) evening having drinks with friends. The waiter we had was very aggressive. He kept pushing expensive items on us to order. He used a more premium liquor in the cocktail I ordered; charged me for it, but didn't tell me beforehand. I will not be back again.

Beautiful space and ADA accessible. Highly recommend the pancakes with ricotta and egg white frittata.Vegetarian options: Menu is marked with what's vegetarian and can be made vegan or vegetarian with modifications.Kid-friendliness: Easy stroller access but no changing pad in the bathroom.

Terrible! Dined here bi-weekly and tonight was a for sure miss. 1. The Bar - fun and beautiful but when packed they don't add a bar person for the dining room so it took 20 min for drink 1. 2. Ordered sun choke soup and that came out cold but it took so long we tried to eat but it was so over salted that you couldn't take anything else. 3. Food. NO flavor. Most items on the menu have chili in, on, or infused so if Chili isnt your you jame you have limited items. We had the bronzino and whole chicken and the Caesar salad. All no flavor. Such a shame used to be a good go to but this outing was a mess.

The menu has changed it is different than on the web site. The prices have risen. I had the scallops they were delicious!! But very pricey 60$ for 3 scallops. If you want bread at the table it is an extra 10$ so 70$ for 3 delicious scallops and bread. Any salad or starch is also extra. There was a special not on the menu but our waiter said there was no special. When I asked specifically about the special the table next to me ordered I was told that yes this was available as an “off menu “ item. In short- great food, very expensive, one not very good waiter.
