Went with classic coffee and chocolate. Very yum. The two scoops is great value but difficult to finish tbh. The staff was very welcoming and sweet.

Great ice cream. That's what the five stars are for.The vibe and atmosphere are weird. The lighting is an odd spectrum and the colors are jarring. It's not flattering for the business tbh. No tables/chairs.

Used to frequent this place often but I made a phone call today and attempted to order milkshake sitting in car looking into shop. Was told by employee and owner that they don’t accommodate case by case guest requests. Terrible guest service. It’s 8 degrees out I wanted to sit in warm car, order then walk in and pay. People don’t understand not every scenario is the same. They lost my business for life which was easily $100 a week in ice cream. On to the next 1. Millies here I come.

This is by far my favorite ice creamery around. They are a tad more expensive but so so so worth it. Even when uber delivered for them they pack the ice cream with such care making sure in case the driver has other stops your ice cream does not melt they put ice bags with it. They've never got a single order wrong, I've tried almost all the ice creams and all are really good I see the quality. So even if a bit higher in price you won't lose my business

The absolute best Cookies and Cream flavor in town! Their home made cones also taste delicious (I think they are flavored with cinnamon sugar) and it makes the shop smell amazing.
Fantastic Dessert Shop On Butler Street, 10/10 Recommend. I Got A Double Scoop Cup With “A Piece Of Cake” and “Peanut S’mores” Flavors With Sprinkles

My baby has a milk protein intolerance, which for me means no dairy…I’ve been struggling to fulfill my sweets craving since cutting dairy and last night I stumbled upon the Vegan PB Oreo flavor at FRIO and was blown away by how good it was. I honestly almost gave it to my husband because I just couldn’t believe it wasn’t the real deal. Totally impressed.

I wish I had better things to say because all of the other reviews are so positive, but I ordered a banana split thinking that it would be like the one pictured on Frio’s Google page— boy was I wrong. The banana split, $9, was put into a cup and all the toppings were smashed on top to where I had to eat all the toppings before I got to any ice cream. Truly the most bizarre “banana split” I’ve ever had. I’m very disappointed because this was my first time at Frio and I don’t feel like I got what I paid for.

LOVE that they sell Penn State Creamery ice cream. The death by chocolate is to die for! I'm glad we have this in Pittsburgh so that I don't have to drive 3 hours for ice cream! Inside is bright and inviting. No tables inside to sit. Two people were working. Service was average.
