Mark is the best and funniest server in America. Certainly wasn't a pushy salesman, just genuinely wanted us to have a good dining experience, made us laugh Everytime he came to check on us.My short visit to Pittsburgh will always be remembered for the server who made the date one to remember. The steaks were delicious too, and the beer fine.God Bless Mark

First time trying out Argentinian cuisine. Came because of the high rating. It may be authentic but over toasted sandwich is not my cup of tea. The bread pudding dessert is very good.

Bring back the old provoletta!!!The new version is good but it is just gobs of cheese that gets hardened. Not that gooey delicious sandwich as before. And the arugula salad balanced the heaviness of the provoletta. Your menu online still has the old version. Anyway Always good food, just stop messing w my provoletta!!!

I would rate this place as mediocre or "OK". Wife and I waited in line for quite a while to get in, and we were disappointed. I go to Mexico annually, and have had a good deal of food from other countries, south of Mexico. The big draw that got this place started was that college kids could bring their own alcohol here.

We stopped in on a random Tuesday evening for dinner and decided to sit outside. I'm not really sure that I recommend outdoor dining downtown on a weeknight - it was quite noisy, which is the reason I'm giving 4 stars for atmosphere, but some of that is outside of their control. We've been before and the food is amazing and this was no exception - I ordered a side of the chimichurri for my meal because, in my opinion, there is never too much of that sauce. So get the chimichurri. Honestly, even if you're just getting dessert, still get the sauce! But the real reason I'm writing this review today is because of the service - Andy H was our server and she was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and funny. She took the time to ask about any allergies before we ordered, and while we have none, I thought it to be a considerate touch. It is one of the best service experiences I've had in a really long time. What really brought it over the top for me was not really service related - there was a young man that had a bike accident in the street. Before I had realized what happened, Andy was out there helping him and brought him out of the street, helped him with his bike, and helped get medical assistance. She then stopped back at the table to apologize for the wait, which I thought was ridiculous as I saw the whole thing and very much appreciated that she took the extra time to help be a good human. So go for the food, stay for the service - but maybe dine inside during rush hour.

Gaucho Parilla Argentina is one of my go to restaurants in Pittsburgh to bring out of town friends and family. The service is always friendly and enthusiastic. The food is delicious, unique and well-priced. Their wait staff has been attentive each time I visited with two people in my life who have severe peanut, tree nut and shellfish allergies which adds to the overall appeal of Gaucho. In fact, they took nut-topping off of one of their appetizers as they reported noticing that there were a lot of allergies and thus wanted the dish to be able to be consumed by all. I love this place!

The food was fantastic. Try the sauce/dressing that come on the side of your meat and vegetables. I was dressed up a little, and looking around, some people were, others were not. But nobody looked out of place, so I liked that. The service was great. Our waiter was attentive but not hovering. It was my first time here so I couldn't tell if his bit was unique to him or everyone or if it was even a bit. Lol the guy maybe really didn't like his job. But he was still great at it.Parking: There is a nearby garage on the side street to pay for parking.

I am not one to typically give reviews, but our visit to Gaucho exceeded all expectations. From the initial contact to make a reservation for a large group of 20 people, Sarah, the General Manager, went above and beyond to ensure every need was not only met but surpassed.Upon our arrival, the host staff welcomed us with a warm greeting and even helped assemble a birthday gift for the guest of honor. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and overall exceptional service set a wonderful tone for the evening.I must highlight our phenomenal server, Andi. Requesting her is a must. Not only did she seamlessly handle our orders, from drinks to appetizers to the main course, but she also went the extra mile to match the theme of our party. Andi's professionalism, personable demeanor, and attention to detail were unparalleled. The promptness in serving drinks, food, and refills was truly remarkable, earning a rating beyond five stars. Every aspect of our meal, from the quality of the food to portion sizes, was impeccable. Even the food runner impressed us with his great attitude and efficient service.I cannot recommend Gaucho highly enough. The dedication and effort shown by Sarah, Andi, and the entire team made our evening truly unforgettable. I urge you to seek out Sarah and Andi when you visit - I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I spent my birthday at gaucho and had the most exceptional service! We had a party of 18 and our server Andy was absolutely amazing. She was so tentative, sweet, and fast! I’ve never seen a server like that before. The food was excellent, drinks were tasty, and the vibes were great. Thank you so much for having us! I definitely recommend!

I brought my daughter here for a nice dinner for just the 2 of us. We’ve been seated for 13 minutes and not one person has come over to greet us, offer water, nothing. They aren’t even busy yet. Were just sitting here in the worst table being ignoredEdit: a table that sat next to us 18 min after us was greeted and got waters. I went to speak w the hostess. The hostess brought us water 25 min after we sat and our server came over 26 min after we sat down.
