Food is great service is terrible. The girls won’t wait until you’re done to make you pay and collect your dish. Feels very unwelcome. Food otherwise is fantastic. Definitely will do take out but not dine in in the future ?

We’ve only done takeout so my review is based on food only- and I’m rating Geppetto five stars for food! We’ve had it a couple times now and truly loved what I tried each time. I’m a big savory over sweet for breakfast kind of gal, and their savory crepes are delicious! Typically I don’t care for chicken and honestly would never order it, ESPECIALLY not for breakfast/brunch, but my husband decided to surprise me with their Chicken & Gruyère crepe and I was blown away!! Amazing flavor and I love their crepe batter. Yum! Husband gets the apple tree French toast every time so it must be good lol

Geppetto is a classic cafe for brunch in Pittsburgh. The cafe has a Pinocchio theme, with lots of interesting decor. Menu offers a variety if crepe and French toast options, with my favorite being Croque Madame French Toast Sandwich and La Pistache. Nothing that left an outstanding impression, but nothing bad either. It does feel like the menu items all taste the same, so it just depends on what you are craving for. Service is fast and friendly, and I especially like how it doesn't get too busy so that it's more of a chill and casual brunch experience.

Fresh fruit, homemade whipped cream and excellent bacon. The waffle was a little more dense than I like but that made it filling. Overall a good eat!

You telling me, I can get a croque madam sandwich with a béchamel sauce on French toast with eggs on top and a delightful light salad on the side. Ok deal 10/10
I totally understand if you're busy and have to put us on a wait-list but when you seat 3 parties that came in after us while telling us each time we're the next ones up it's bordering on absurdity. After 30 minutes past the time they told us that we'd have a table we left. Don't waste your time.

I have been coming here since they opened about 8 years ago. It instantly became my favorite place. It’s a Lawrenceville staple now. When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is I say “well it’s actually a brunch place, but Geppetto Cafe! Trust me!” Great atmosphere, food, and people. There are few places I’m a regular, and this is one of them. Their iced black coffee is my all-time favorite too.We just had our engagement party here, and they were so flexible and accommodating. It was really special, and many of our guests said “you WOULD have your engagement party at Geppetto”. They loved it. Everyone thought it was super cute and that the crepes were delicious.Highest recommendation for brunch, coffee, or a special occasion!

I'm sure the crepes are good, but I got the French toast and bacon. It was bad. Zero crisp to the bread, bland and tasteless. The bacon was thin and low quality. I barely ate more than a few bites.
