This food was disgusting! I asked for extra veggies and did not get them. the noodles were old and the chicken was questionable, mystery meat .If you ever want to waste your money, order this food.

Pretty typical Chinese takeout. Prices, food, and service were all good/reasonable.

God I love this place. My go to Chinese spot for over a decade here in the South hills of Pittsburgh. I swear they know when I'm about to order because it arrives in like 5 min. All that aside. The food is amazing and I will keep co.img here for decades to come.

This place has the best shrimp rolls in Pittsburgh. Everything else is good too but sometimes I drive all the way across town for the shrimp rolls.

I write and post many reviews about all kinds of places. I know myself as a consumer, I read reviews a lot to aid me in making a decision. We really feel terrible giving any bad review, but with people spending their hard earned money, I try and be candid and honest to assist others, but of course, it's all a matter of personal opinion. We wanted to give this place a try after they left a menu in our door. We've lived here a long time and know they have also been here a while as well, and figured today was the perfect time to place an order! I did see some harsh reviews online, but realize that people can be picky and complain about anything. My family are creatures of habit and always order from the same place, but were ready for a change of pace. The delivery guy was prompt and friendly and the portions were generous, but that about ends the positive reviews. Sadly, we had to throw away the food because it was that terrible, and we aren't those type of people that are calling to get a refund. The general gso chicken was so overcooked it was hard, you could barely chew it, and it literally had no flavor whatsoever. We had to spit it out. My shrimp fried rice was gray.. I have never seen gray rice, I was almost afraid to taste it. Sure enough, it was strange tasting. My husband's order of shrimp, scallops, and broccoli well, I don't even know what to say.. just terrible. And he eats anything, without complaint..He said Kelly, I can't eat this. I just stared at him in shock.. Maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen for them. For the many people that have enjoyed them over many years, that's wonderful! I typically give everyone a second chance with any situation..this was our first order with them and unfortunately it will also be our last. ?

Pretty bad, and it takes a lot for me to say that about any restaurant. The food was just above inedible. Sorry..

Love Green Garden Love the owners and Love the food. Great people great prices great food nothing more you could ask. Always gets everything right every time and quick! Have been a regular for over a year since moving to the area! The beef lo mein and boneless spare ribs tends to be my cheat meal every week lol!

Worst food I ever had. I never spit out food and I was in the navy. The Mongolian beef was so bad my dog wouldn’t eat it. As for the sesame chicken and noodles, I can tell they microwaved old food. If I could give it zero stars I would. Go here if you want to puke.

I do not understand some of these harsh reviews. I have been ordering from this place for years and is always good. Of course over the years I have had some misses (bland, cold, just blah). I have also had 'misses' in Michelin-starred spots in NYC and LA too. It happens at every restaurant. Today I decided to offer a review as I was very impressed with my Shrimp and Broccoli and House Special Egg Foo Young. I live in Mt Leb not far from the place. My order (on Good Friday) from placement to delivery was less than 15 minutes. The food was so hot...I actually had to let it cool down to eat. That never happens with delivery from anywhere. The shrimp are the REAL DEAL, jumbo, fresh and tender. The 'E.F.Y.' (ordered sauce on side) was also a super hot, fluffy and a delicious 'old skool' treat. And the prices here can not be beat. To the negative reviewers: ordering deep fried or pre-cooked food from any Chinese restaurant is not going to be great. So skip the beef on stick, ribs, egg rolls, rangoon, dumpling, wings, wontons, all that and only order food fired FRESHLY COOKED in the wok (like what I ordered) and you will be happy. I ordered online and made several notes: extra spicy, sauce on side, etc and all was prepped right. This place has thrived a LONG time in a finicky area with (expensive) competition from Sesame Inn and Jade Grille...they must be doing something right!

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and my go to shrimp with blackbean sauce and a side order of lo mein veggi.. the food is not the same as a year ago when I used to order here. The lo mein was just spegetti with veggies and soy sauce and the other stuff was very bad.. disappointed with this place.. NOT ORDERING AGAIN!!!!
