Food soo good that I went there 3 times in 3 days ! Atmosphere typical for the type of restaurant but food made up for any deficiencies. Had Dandan noodles, homemade dumplings and eggplant + minced pork.Parking: Easy parking in street and parking structure nearby

It was very cold in this restaurant. The service was okay...a little slow. We had the hot pot. My son liked it a lot, but it was just not for me.Parking: Forget street parking. Most likely have to use the paid parking garage about a block away. It was a reasonable cost.

We waited over 30 minutes after being seated while the waiters walked by and continuously ignored us. In the end we had to stand up and tell them to come over. We ordered the all you can eat hotpot. Waiter didn't give us plates or utensils until we asked. The waiters then never checked on us, and we had to get up to pour our own water. Once we ordered more meat, the waiter looked uncomfortable and told us "it may be a while". We said okay and we would wait. Over 30-40 minutes later and still no meat. We saw the waiter sit down at the bar and eat his own dinner. Then once he was done, he brought us our check and told us, "we're closing now, can you please leave?" and pointed to the door. Never got our meat, no explanation at all. We paid $30 each for the all you can eat hotpot plus a mandatory gratuity (we had 3 people).

The amount of food we were given for 3 people was outstanding. The quality of the food was far superior to most restaurants. We ordered the hot pot buffet and we all left stuffed to the gills with beef, fish, shrimp, tripe, mushrooms, seaweed, noodles, potatoes, lotus root, pork and more! The spicy soup base was my favorite, I found the white base to be too bland for me but that doesn't mean it wasn't delicious in its own way! If you don't handle chopsticks well, don't be afraid to ask for a fork. My husband broke his hand and cannot use chopsticks, they were happy to give him a fork. The boba tea was refreshing and delicious. We will definitely be back!

ALOT of bone in their chicken and spare rib dishes with hardly any meat. Felt like it was a dish you would serve a dog. Went to Taco Bell afterward. Worst experience with Asian food for me. Try Chengdu gourmet instead if you want authentic.

Perfect in every way! I lived in China for five years and struggle to find real authentic Chinese dining in the U.S.,but place is the real deal. Delicious, fresh ingredients seasoned just right. Lovely family owns the restaurant and provides warm and attentive service. We will be back!!FYI if you’re looking for Americanized food or atmosphere you might want to try somewhere, but if you have an open mind and really want to feel like you’re eating in China come here, you will not regret it.

Great food, poor atmosphere and attention. Very singular plates that you cant easily find in other restaurants from different places in Asía.

Best chinese food in Pittsburgh with huge portions at great prices and delicious authentic food! Better than everything ive had in nyc as a person of chinese heritage growing up there. Highly recommend their beef malatong noodles, and any of the hunan specialties!

Got the orange beef and it was awful. I wanted it to go and waitress said 10 minutes, ended up being 25 minutes. If I was given what I was ordered I don't think that I would know it was beef. There was so much more fat that beef. The clumps of lousily fried beef stick together and were difficult to separate. Rice was undercooked. Overall the dish was disgusting and I'll never eat here again.Lunch prices also were more expensive than on the website.

It wasn't a good experience at all. Ordered Fried Dumplings & got Steamed Dumplings. Every dumpling stuck to the other ones, they fell apart when I tried to pick them up, & they all tasted horrible. The Sesame Chicken was just horrible also. The broccoli was black & wilted, making it inedible. The egg rolls were so-so. Leftovers are going in the trash. Which is unfortunate since I spent over $50 on two orders of dumplings, two egg rolls, & 1 order of sesame chicken.

Disappointed ☹️ I would not recommend this place. The staff is kind and accommodating but the food itself is below average. I would give this restaurant another chance if they improve on their service and especially cleanliness.Hot Pot- The spicy soup base was delicious but the white soup base was not good at all. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was good too. The stove on the table was dirty and smelled bad, probably from previous food spills.Brown Sugar Milk Boba Tea- The tea was good, a little on the sweet side but the tapioca itself tasted rubbery so it was probably old.The service was poor and the restaurant is not clean. Don’t expect a good ambiance here. I would at least expect the utensils on the table to be clean. We had to ask for the tongs and plates to he replaced because there was dried up food bits on it. The receipt included gratuity up front. Not sure why that would be the case since we were just two people.Parking: Street Parking

EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC HUNAN CUISINE & Pittsburgh’s TOP CHINESE HOT POT. It’s true gustatory dining, ??? very popular to the local ethnic Chinese, Japanese and Korean emigres especially among students of the local universities. It’s very busy during the weekends. The 9-page booklet menu with large scripts is very navigable ?, a contrast to the dizzying lists so common among the uniformly dismal Chinese-style eateries of America. It’s a home for the Traditional Chinese HotPot???, from single (large 50-oz) bowl for the single dinner to the buffet style souping dinner for a group. The classic bone broth (Mala Tang) is a rich, yet light soup is absolutely delightful ??? Any of the single bowls are outstanding!!!Then there’s the Hunan entrees, distinguished by their thick yet silken sauces. Pairing a meat entree with a Hunan vegetable is truly extraordinary???Service is very good, the staff are helpful in deciding which ones to try. This is a restaurant worth several visits. Prices are very reasonable.
