Not only is the food fresh and personally made by Kevin for every order, it is absolutely delicious, and very affordable to boot! Plus, Kevin is a super nice guy and it's always worth kicking back to chat while he cooks. I lived in Webster Hall 10 years ago and I have fond memories of Kevin's deli. Now, 10 years later, the food and conversation is just as good! Check this place out, you won't regret it.

This was my first visit to Kevin's. I got a friendly greeting from the owner, and while I was looking over the menu, he recommended a cheesesteak. I went for that and an order of fries. The place is about as big as a shoebox, and I ended up chatting with the owner while he cooked- super nice guy that has worked there/owned the place for decades. My order was made very quickly and as requested. Portions were generous and it was boxed up piping hot. The cheese steak was delicious and loaded with onions, jalapeños and lots of cheese. The price was very reasonable. Takeout only.

Excellent institution. Have been going here since I was an undergrad at Pitt ~10yrs ago (lived in the building). Quality has always been top notch. In my opinion, the best Reuben in Pittsburgh. Other favorites include the chicken hoagie, BLT with cheese, and turkey club. The famous chop is also a great breakfast option. Owner is a nice regular humble dude. Prices are more than reasonable as well.
