Though the 2nd floor location has a nice view of the Squirrel Hill main drag, the restaurant was so cold that we kept our coats on during the meal. The food was disappointing--very watery red curry with way too many peanuts and gummy all-dark-meat chicken. I wanted to like this but would never go back.

Amazing staff and great value for the quality and quantity of food. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The grilled pork shoulder was unreal - a must appetizer order.

Me and friend order from this place every single Thursday. We go insane for it. Everything is so good!! Obviously the popular dishes are the ones we love too. Curry puffs have a special place in both of our hearts bc they are so good and always made amazing. This is the only place I have nothing bad about. It’s all amazing. Perfect. I love it.Dietary restrictions: A lot of things can be made vegan !!

Amazing food! Wow. We had the mok with salmon, and the Orm curry with salmon, as well as the curry puffs! All were absolutely perfect. Will return.

I got the tofu mok. It was so so good. I loved the flavors and it was my first time having Lao food. The vibe of this place is cool with lots of neat lamps and photos on the wall. The service was great as well and I will definitely be back.

Very bad experience. The food was really really salty and the waiter was quite rude to be frank. Would not recommend.

The best fried rice I've ever had.

One of the most authentic Asian restaurants in Pittsburgh. The environment is equally vibrant and refreshing. The window view is very pleasant. The staff is very attentive and welcoming as well.

The dining room looks inviting at first and it’s tastefully decorated. However, some tables are placed by the large drafty floor to ceiling window and the patrons are seated facing the window with their backs to the dining room. The menu has a large selection of entrees and you can customize the level of spiciness 1-10. Different entrees ordered with the same level of spiciness of 2 tasted different, with one being extremely spicy even though the server was told about the tolerance level but was helpless.

Great food. Friendly service and staff although they are usually understaffed. The atmosphere is ok; tables close together with no dividers so it can be hard to talk/hear depending on how crowded they are. We keep going back however, as the food is wonderful: hot temperatures and hot spices. Give them a try and ask for a window seat. Your view will be of Forbes Avenue sidewalk traffic and passengers. Fun to people watch.

We usually enjoy new cuisine but our initial experience with Laotian food wasn't good. Service was quick and the restaurant was located upstairs in a quaint room overlooking the street. Ingredients were fresh. Curry puffs were great. Grilled fish balls were good. For entrees only the Mee Kathy did we enjoy. The Laab was overwhelmed with salty fish sauce and the Mok was overwhelmed with salt and lemongrass; the other flavors were just lost. Too bad, the food sounded exotic and tasty.

The flavors are terrific. We really enjoy trying new things. This last time, however, I was slightly disappointed-mostly with the customer service. Why, you may ask. Well, I'll tell you. One dish had very little chicken in it, although it was a mostly noodle and chicken dish-noodles galore-chicken no more! All in all, the food was really good. But, the music was SO loud! We asked multiple times if they could turn it down. They did...then, by the time we left-full blast again. So you may say-shut up, sit down-you must just be old. And you may be right-I may be old-but, my old money spends just as well as young money. I would like to talk to the people I'm dining with not text them! Just saying...and again...great food and we'll be back-but, perhaps for take out!
