I come with my husband for lunch. We always get the lunch special and he LOVES the soup that comes with it. I adore the Tum Yum veggie soup. The summer roll is so fresh and the crab app is crispy and always hot. It’s a family owned business so that just makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. Try the Musaman curry with beef. The owner is so sweet and that’s what keeps my husband and I coming back for more.

This is a lovely Thai restaurant in the middle of the Strip District in Pittsburgh. The staff is friendly and the food delicious. We highly recommend the green curry and the mango sticky rice.

Outstanding Thai food! I think the favorite dish for our table was the Drunken Noodles come on but I thoroughly enjoyed my curried pumpkin!Dietary restrictions: Their menu accommodates gluten free because of the rice noodles.

I’ve been coming here for about 7 years now, and it quickly became my favorite restaurant from the first meal! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Penny, the owner and main face you see here, is truly a godsend. She is so so sweet, always sure to accommodate for dietary preferences, always so joyful, and now remembers our entire families order before we say a word ! Now for the food, truly the best food I’ve ever had in my life. We visit Thai places in every city we visit and other Thai places in Pittsburgh, NOTHING compares to Pennys Thai !! The curries & soups are so rich, the fried rice and noodles dishes are cooked to perfection, and the Thai tea with coconut milk is phenomenal. Don’t skip on the mango sticky rice for dessert! Our whole family goes for every birthday, holiday, and celebration now and she knows us as the “vegans from Ohio”Thanks for the meals & memories Penny !Vegetarian options: Little Bangkoks menu is so diverse, and most of the dishes can be modified to be made vegan/vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: My family is vegan and we are always accommodated, there are sooo many menu modifications that can make most meals vegan !Kid-friendliness: The staff has never turned their head up at my two little boys at dinner, even when they have been not so quiet.

Not sure if it was a bad day or not, but food was definitely lacking. I ordered from here, because my go to Thai places were closed for the day. Everything was extremely SWEET. Pad see ew was so sweet it almost tasted like it was coated in syrup. Couldn’t taste the spice or any other flavor to it. Just sugar. The noodles were also undercooked. The summer rolls were good, but the peanut sauce tasted more like a sweet teriyaki sauce, with again a lot of extra sugar added. Surprisingly the least sweet thing everything I had was the Thai Tea. The dumplings were okay, but nothing really “wowed” me.

This place is genuine. The atmosphere was cozy and trendy but could have been brighter. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was great tasting and fresh. Total time from order to food presentation was less than 15 minutes. The cost was reasonable and portions were decently appropriated. Overall, my wife and I would recommend and return to this establishment.
