They steal from customers. Went to do return and they claim item from “third party”. No I bought it at macys. They pretend to do return, take your item, and you don’t get money back.

Got some good deals on toys and children's clothes for Christmas. They have a good selection of toys with decent sales except a lot of products have no price tag on them and there aren't any associates around usually to do a price check or a self- scanner kiosk. There are only carts in Macy's backstage, no carts or totes anywhere else so if they want people to buy more than just what they can carry they should offer a way to hold more items. I started using a reusable purchasable tote from the toys r us section when I got so many items that I was dropping them. And employee who looked like a manager told me it was a clever idea and I told her I really need a cart because I plan on getting more. She said they have one at Macy's backstage (which I was a little too far from to comfortably carry the items I had) and as I was about to ask her if I could take one around the corner (that had hangers in it so maybe an employee was using it or it was just abandoned), she walked away. Didn't bother to conclude the conversation with me or offer to get me a cart for my convenience as the shopper. Seems like the only employees who want to help are the makeup associates (when they're there, otherwise you have to hunt someone down) who borderline harass you as you're walking by as if they're working for commission. At the backstage checkout there was 1 cashier who took 20 min to ring up my purchases. He was very nice and personable but said he was new there and was from another country so I think there was a language barrier too. There were BOGO deals and %off deals which he thought for some reason needed to be dealt with in 4 SEPARATE transactions, although he was ringing up items from both sales within the same transaction. I ended up putting my phone number in and credit card in 4 separate times. Also he did not bag the items as he went along so everything was out on the counter and it was hard to keep track of what he did and didn't scan. At one point an older male employee came over and my cashier told him he needed help in his area and he said "oh well they won't let me" and I said in front of him "can this all be done in the same transaction" on the last transaction hoping he would notice that that wasn't happening in the first place. He did nothing and didn't offer advice or to help or to find someone to help him- nothing. This 20- minute transaction I did not have time for should have been done in 5 minutes or less. The icing on the cake was that I had 4 medium sized paper bags of items and I parked at Nordstrom (my mistake) and 2 of the bags were ripping on my way to the car and one finally broke on me in the parking lot. Good price and good name brand items but overall very bad customer service experience at Macy's.

My wife and I went to this store to find a dress for her for our daughters wedding. Found one, opened a new acct and told she gets 20% that purchase and next day. Well she went online, found a few items to go with her dress, and tried to check out....complete frustrating b******** No cc # on receipt or cc appl, no expiration date, things needed to make the purchase and get the discount. Tried calling macys and for 2 hours no response, just more customer UNFRIENDLY automated nonsense. No help whatsoever. Complete nonsense! Returning the items and immediately cancelling macys card. Customer service? NONE. ZERO. Terrible company that treats customers like trash when trying to spend their money on macys products. Never again. Done. Thing is, we used to like the store, but not anymore. they make it impossible for customers to spend their money online at macys. I sincerely hope they go under in the very near future. And GOOD RIDDANCE.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.Macy's customer service is the worst. I have talked to 4 supervisors to try to help me with a return. The supervisors have lied to me, dismissed me, told me it was not their problem. Their supervisors are not trained and don't care about the customers.

Complete shithole - merchandise scattered all over the place, no sales help and not a very comprehensive variety of sizes. Macys has become the new JC Penney.

Woman on register at the service center named asani on the 2nd floor has a nasty attitude. walked up to the register i was standing in front of and said "can you move" and immediately after i apologized asked if i was with the girl being rung up on the first register (my girlfriend)... not a good look if i was a random person. after pushing me to the side and a customer stepping up, she looked at them and said "give me a minute." idk why she was rushing to get me out of the way just to not help a customer.

I'm liking Macys more and more because the trashy clientele are hanging out at Nords at the other end of the mall LolMacys employs long term americans so I like that. I will say that the elevators need an overhaul. They smell like oil. They need more employees. The workers in the shoe dept suck. Slow and unhelpful Where's the work ethic of my generation?

While I'm not a frequent Macy's shopper, I have started to visit a couple times a year. Ross Park Mall has been my go to mall since the 90s. But as anyone who's shopped there over the decades can tell you it has changed as more upscale/expensive stores have moved in. I still enjoy seeing it decorated for the holidays, browsing, or picking up something from the dwindling food court options, and do most of my shopping at more affordable stores like Kohl's. However I must say the holiday sales at Macy's, either Black Friday or the Friends and Family sale, have caught my attention the last couple years. Last year I picked up some cologne from their sizable fragrance department. One lady claimed they didn't have any open bottles for sample sprays at her station and didn't seem willing to make another available to try, so I moved on. The second was be try friendly and took me all around to anything I was curious about, and I left with two different bottles. This year I was in the market for new winter wear, something waterproof and warm. I ended up with a Tommy Hilfiger jacket and a Calvin Klein coat. Both together would normally have been $375, too much for me. But one sale just $140 saving me $235! The store is spacious and usually better organized than other clothing outlets with things thrown everywhere after aggressive shoppers move through.

Stopped by to see if they had anything on sale that I liked. Tried on a few things but this wasn't the day for me. Too bad because no tax on clothing and shoes in Pennsylvania. I am wavering between 2 and 3 rating. I want to give it a 2 but on the other hand their displays were nice. So 3 it is. BUT, I arrived shortly after opening and their women's dressing rooms!!!! Clearly they had not been cleaned for days, maybe even weeks. There was grime on the floor and dustballs the size of half my hand. It was an immediate turn off. Is there a cleaning crew because this stuff has been there for a while. I am not necessarily expecting spotless but the dressing room I was in was filthy and not because of previous customers.

Why is this store filled with miserable people that do not want to work? The store is dirty and messy, all the clothes have makeup stains on them, or are on the floor. Its absolutely insulting how awful this store is!

Macys has sadly gone downhill. I still shop here but there is no reason in the world why a salesperson who is not busy, is just standing around talking can't order a pair of shoes from another store. After you politely ask, they tell you to do it yourself. I also found many employees to be downright rude.

They serve Starbucks coffee here.

I really like this location. The store is very clean, staff is very nice and they have a great selection of clothing and makeup. But what I really love is the HUGE audrianna prepel section that they have. She's such an underrated designer and it's great that you guys have such a huge selection to honor her beautiful work! I would definitely recommend coming to this store.

My local Macy's is this one, and it's decent. One star was knocked off because of the loud Excel Dryer XLERATOR hand dryers. Other than that, it's a nice store that opened as Kaufmann's originally with a fairly good Westinghouse hydraulic elevator.
