Everyone is always so nice and the food is incredible! I enjoy getting lunch from here, despite it being about a 12 min walk—it’s worth the jaunt. The meat is always really tender (I like the chicken shawarma), they have excellent hummus, and I love their potatoes and green beans. The price is also very good for everything, the portion sizes are big, I always have leftovers.Vegetarian options: Large selection of vegetarian options.

Found this place on google maps when in town for work! I wanted something semi healthy. Quick 10 minute walk from the hotel and the food was ready within second. Very delicious pita and chicken. Everyone behind the counter was very friendly and there was a large lunch crowd on a Monday but it moved through quickly!I got a side cucumber tomato salad and dipped the pita in. Perfect vinegar flavor to add to the lunch!

Easily the best lunch in downtown! You gotta get their roasted chicken with rice and loubieh. The flavor is out of this world! Also the folks at Madonna’s are wonderful and kind :)

Edit: I called the store to give them a chance to make it right and the lady hung up on me after I asked to speak to a manager. Lol.Really busy during lunch time so I thought, that must be good sign. Lot of people in front of me ordering the chicken shawarma so I got it as well. It was dry and flavorless, like rubber. Not cheap either, at $13. I’m from New York, so I’ve maybe my standards are higher. Not sure how no one has said “dry” yet in a review. It’s a shame, some of the ratings I see on Google are just so off here in Pittsburgh.

Hummus bowl is huge. Not for just one person. Came with like, pizza dough made into bread.

I’ve tried almost the whole menu and everything has been delicious. Large portions and super friendly
Fresh as can be! Generous servings. Real food, being made with love by real people. We had the Gyro and Falafel entree with Tabbouleh, hummus and Lima beans on side. Highly recommend. Thinking of getting another order of Falafel to eat for breakfast tomorrow. ?. PS - it best pita bread I’ve ever had. Thin. Warm grain smell, a perfect little pocket!

This is my favorite lunch spot downtown! The owners are super-sweet and I love the food. I don't know how they make those spicy (lima?) beans, but I could eat those every day! Highly recommended stopping by Madonna's!
