First went here September 2020 during the pandemic, when they had outdoor seating. Mallorca was absolutely lovely. The food - I had their most famous dish, the paella, was "una maravilla." The service was impeccable and the waiters were all really nice and indulged me in my desire to practice my Spanish. As of April 2022, not sure if it's currently open (it closed in November 2020 when there was rising cases), but I definitely want to go back.

For our first wedding anniversary we made a reservation there, late December, as my wife really wanted to go and at the time eating out like that was something really exciting and special. Arrived to be told they "don't do" reservations but they gruffly seated us in a frigid and drafty bay window by the door. So cold we couldn't take our coats off. We looked at the menu but after being ignored we left. The restaurant was not busy.I've never forgiven that place for the disrespect and for attempting to ruin our special night. I would love to see it closed forever. I tell everyone-- whenever it comes up-- to avoid that place.We ended up wandering in to China Palace that night (Shadyside) and were treated like royalty. We spent MANY meals at China Palace in the 25 years since and continue to frequent the Wexford location, which is closer to us. We eat out a lot more and lavishly now, but I'll never forget how we were treated by Mallorca and how humiliating it was when we were poor newlyweds.

This place should stop serving the dish they call paella. They must serve a weird boiled rice. We asked them why they didn't cook paella, and they said it takes too long. "I can't even". I hope someone takes this place over and opens a Spanish restaurant.

I was looking forward to paella but was very disappointed! Granted I don't eat meat so I ordered the vegetarian version but i couldn't even taste the saffron! It was rice with veggies and tasteless! My husband enjoyed the shrimps entree.

Service: Our waiter was fine but another host/waiter/employee was obviously drunkDrinks: ordered a gimlet and it was mixed poorly, about 80% lime juiceFood: abysmal for the price, ordered the paella; rice was over cooked, seafood stunk and seemed to be left out all day, also got the cherry duck which was dry, appetizers were fine got the bruschetta and stuffed peppers. Deeply embarrassed and disappointed to pay $80 a person for low quality food

Fair....not the same as the old mallorca I remember.....instead of food being out of this world it was average.....menu was a limited menu...... Went with my mouth watering for there lobster...or stuffed lobster tail which is what I get whenever I go....and they had none.....but they still had there high prices....not that ive ever minded paying.....if the food and service is there to back it up
If I could give them 10 Stars I would have from the door!!! There was absolutely nothing that I didn't love about this place; from the staff to the atmosphere, everything was spectacular and they serve two Non-alcoholic beers!????????????????????

We came for my moms birthday dinner and had such a remarkable experience! I got the chicken with shrimp, my mom ordered the Chilean sea bass, and my dad got the steak! The servers, especially Henry, were so attentive and made sure we were good! The food was amazing and they even brought us chocolate cake when they sang happy birthday. One of my favorite restaurants, we will be back soon!

The first time was outstanding. This time terrible. The manager seemed to be ran down or drunk. We got seated and WAITED. for any service, Not even menu's. The waiter Henry made our nite. He provided excellent service. Some appetizers were good But the food was bland and the well done steaks were charred burnt. Extra sauce on the steak came out swimming in grave not sauce gravy, to cover the charred steak. We had to ask for our check 3 times while the manger sat with other patrons having a beer. Another employee had to calculate our check so we could leave. The manager couldn’t even calculate our check. Food wasn’t worth the money. Parking lot was chained closed so you had to pay to be parked. We won’t be coming back.
