Overpriced for the Shakshuka that was over-seasoned with cardamom/clove and Quiche of the day which was okay.

The food was high quality, made fresh from scratch. The breakfast sandwich might have been the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The latte was great too. Take note that this place is really small though, so maybe consider taking your food to go.

I really like their bread and pastries. I honestly get a cold, unwelcome feeling from the Lawrenceville location, however. It's hard to describe.Everything they make is excellent, though.

The place seems pretty good, and so does the food, but the taste was quite disappointing! We ordered a Shakshuka without eggs but the curry had too many spices (coming from an Indian btw)The avocado toast was one of the better items, however lacked seasoning, and the mint didn’t go well with it.The bread pudding was decent, but a little stodgy! The overall food wasn’t bad, but nothing that blew our mind! The banana bread and cortado were good

Walked in shortly before 4 (they're closing time), but I just wanted a black coffee, no harm no foul...walk up to the counter, the two employees are chatting, wiping things down...more so just chatting, but it's a coffee shop, its okay, Ill wait...I stand there another minute or two before the young lady finally pays me mind, walks up, stares at her screen, waits a couple seconds..."oh I'm sorry, we're now closed"..it had JUST turned 4:00...Welcome to Pittsburgh, lower your expectations.

Tons of gluten free options (including the best gf bread in Pittsburgh), really tasty food, and the staff leaves me the cutest drawings on my orders. It's pricey but sometimes i need a treat haha.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free (I have Celiac and have not gotten sick!)

Lived my breakfast here. I went with a group of people and it was easy to walk in and order and then find a seat. I liked the atmosphere a lot. It gave you a very homey/cozy feeling as I sipped my coffee and at my breakfast. The service is great and the food is just as good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was ready in about 10 mins. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the bread was delicious. 10/10 will be back again for sure!

Mediterra is a wonderful location, great atmosphere, and such a wonderful addition to Lawrenceville.Their baked goods— especially sugar cookies— are so so good! Bread always looks awesome. Coffee is good.I do wish their breakfast items were just as good though. It would be so awesome if they upped their breakfast game— the breakfast sandwich falls apart and is just eggs thrown on bread. Maybe put it on a croissant and melt the eggs into the pastry with cheese. Take away the strange sauce. Nothing but love for Mediterra but I would love a reliable breakfast in the neighborhood :)

Came to visit Pittsburgh again and had to stop by one of my fave vegan cafes. Turns out B52 cafe is now Mediterra Cafe and there’s an astounding lack of vegan options. Disappointing. Wish the owners would have kept some of their old menu options because that place was amazing!
