Pittsburgh staple! Mike & Tony's gyro meat is unmatched! Staff is very friendly. Order your food and you are in and out. Hot, fresh and fast.

This has always been my go to place for gyros. Have been coming here since 93 when I moved to Pittsburgh. The last few months tho it has been very different. Did not want to give a review on one bad time but it is now the norm here. I go in and it smells like something is burning. The bread has been burnt 3 out of the last 4 times. They seem to give little toppings and lots of sauce. Gonna try another location to see if it is all of them or just this one.

This place has gone downhill and keeps going downhill. It used to be my favorite. I would rather go downtown sometimes or to the Bridgeville location. This one has to be the worst!!I fully understand if you cannot find reliable or appropriate staff, but some of those people in there look ridiculous and their attitude totally sucks, especially the older woman who takes orders on the phone!Sometimes she lays that phone down and you can hear her talking and running her mouth for over 10 minutes,That’s absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The salads have hardly no lettuce in them. I thought meat was more expensive than lettuce. I can’t figure out why but I would like a little lettuce with my salad one time they charcoal burnt my chicken and she asked me to bring the salad back. I had already punched back into work and was at work. You would think they would take your name and maybe take half off of your lunch next time but no the customer service sucks.!!! I’ll stick with the Bridgeville location for now on sad because I do enjoy eating there for lunch sometimes! From what I hear there are some Gyro places on Carson now, so maybe I will try the competition

Place looks like a dump and the gyro was smaller than my hand for like $8, I guess the meat was decent but meh you can find better gyros elsewhere for a better price

Old bitty started off with sarcasm! Helped guy on fry and gyro and barely put fries in carton. Fry guy picked up carton off floor he dropped and reused it! Then she had the nerve to tell the customer behind me to stay safe. No pleasantries towards me at all. Straight Racist! Never eating there again. Gyros were meatless! Smaller than I ever had. I'll keep my money where businesses Appreciate my business ? Straight Trash!!! Spent $40.00 for unappreciated service or business ? food definitely a 1 star not 3.5 what Google is saying Definitely not making this up. That old lady is definitely a racist! Ask her she Rember ME! I comment on it. Friday 1:30 pm! You lost my business for sure. How you gonna back the terrible quality and service towards customers ?

Posted hours say they close at 9:30. At 9:05, door locked and there were still employees in the building. They wouldn't open the door or serve when it was knocked upon. They already close way earlier than everything else in the neighborhood. At this point let's just tell them to leave. We don't want them here.

I’ve been coming to this place since they had a Pac-Man Machine that took Quarters to play, it’s always been a go to spot! However the last 2 times I kinda wish I didn’t. I’m giving yinz 4 stars because I’ve had waaaaay more positive than negative experiences here and I really hope you guys can turn this place around because right now it’s a mess. When I walked in a huge cloud of dark smoke slapped me in the face, it seems so dark and off putting on the inside to someone who hasn’t been there before (or has). I miss the tables and chairs I hope you guys remodel. I understand not wanting to cater to dine-in customers again, but at least make the walk in area inviting. The first thing I read when I walk into a restaurant shouldn’t be a “THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS FOR CUSTOMERS” sign on the front door. I included 2 photos of overcooked meat I took out of my sandwich, it was like swallowing sandpaper, I’m not tryna be mean but the consistency was not good. Wish you all luck in the new year! God bless.

America's best gyro ??

Typo

I've never been here before, was walking by and figured I'd try it out, but this place is an absolute disgrace to local Pittsburgh food and gyro shops in general, I'll never stop in again.Cash only, lucky I had a 20 on me, first sign I should have walked away.I noticed I was the only one in there at 9pm during the busy times on south side, second sign I should have walked out.Gyros are incredibly tiny, burnt meat taste, chewy in areas, and their fry portions are a joke. Not to mention, they had old fries sitting in the fryer already cooked, and for my order dude just drops some already cooked fries for 30 seconds and serves them. Very cool my guy. Love these super hard and stale re-fried fries. And while I'm here, they use some off brand ketchup packets, not using Heinz ketchup in Pittsburgh is a huge no-noYou being a family owned business does not change anything or get sympathy from me, you are charging me for a product, and your product is simply, not very good. Yes snarky owner, that means you as you type your cute personalized reply, born and raised here, 30 years. Yes you've been here for 50 years, and if this is what your customer base likes then I guess it's just not for me.Any other disappointed gyro fans read this!!!!! Go check out Shah's over in Oakland, their gyros are incredible, 50c cheaper, and three times the size and meat. And their fry portions are also much larger. An absolute night and day experience.Edit: And with an attitude like that, you are practically asking me to bad mouth your business when it's brought up in conversation. But oh right you don't care, because you guys are just soo legendary to the area. Lol

The Gyros were good, and packed with a lot of meat. I should have asked for Xtra tazeki sauce.Building was a bit bare, and run down. Service was good, but could have been better.
