This hidden gem (hidden unless you're staying at the priory) is Pittsburgh's smallest bar. With 4 bar seats and 3 tables, it's an intimate experience with a cozy ambiance. Michael, the bartender, is a delight. He's so personable and makes great drinks. I ordered a dirty martini which was one of the best I've yet to have. If you find yourself in the Northside, this little bar is well worth checking out!

This place is a hidden gem that we happened upon while sharing an evening with friends. It is a beautiful building with an even more fascinating history, all told and preserved by its resident historian and talented mixologist Mike.Don't cheat yourself, indulge!

The bartender, Michael, is awesome ... plus very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel.

Monks Bar is the hotel bar inside of the Priory Hotel. The name goes along with the theme of how the Priory was a former abbey. This is a tiny bar, but a nice bar. If you are staying at the Priory, you've got a solid bar that makes good drinks. If you know someone staying a the Priority, know you can get a good drink at Monks Bar on the main floor when you visit them.

Tiny, cozy, awesome. Bartenders that KNOW their stuff. Easy, relaxed, perfect.

Smallest bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (apparently).
