I had the pleasure of visiting this gem of a bakery and I must say the pastries that I had were simply delicious. The rich buttery raspberry cookies, the flavorful macaroons and flaky ladylocks. The service was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items.

Read til the end please, there is good and bad in everything. I once really enjoyed going here. The staff is always remarkable. I used to get cupcakes, cheese cakes, macaroons. They were all fabulous.This time I purchased cookies chocolate chil, thumb print and such. I dropped some off at a friend's on my way home (40miles). He called and asked if that was from the same place as the cakes and such. As I was trying one. He said I hope you didn't pay a lot for them. (Nearly $70.00). They were clearly frozen and thawed out several times. I called and politely asked for my money back after giving them plenty of complements on prior visits. She said I had to bring them back. I scheduled appts for work in the city and went 40 miles back, paid for parking. BTW, I wanted to save them the embarrassment of having this done in front of current customers. The owner took them in back of the store, came back out said they were fine, perfectly soft and fresh. Basically my taste in cookies wasn't refined enough for her product. Went in back and made no offer of any compromise, refund, different product, ziltch!I am in business as well, I would want to know if I had a bad product or service issue. These cookies were like a mouth full of bird seed, from the bottom of the cadge. I soft balled it in a very diplomatic way. I also think she put them back on the shelf after repackaging them. They looked amazing, until you bit it, then could see the chalkyness, and pitting of the chip, and sand like cookie part. The jam on the raspberry jam cookie was like a piece of latex.I have never been inclined to write a review other than positive. It isn't how you fall down but how you get back up. They squandered the opportunity to handle this and keep a once happy loyal customer.It is also like steeling to me, frankly.

The aroma that greets you at the door when you enter is a pleasant savory smell! There are sweet treats all around the store! Everything looks so delicious! The staff were very friendly and eager to assist. Prices werea bit high for the lack in quality of the baked goods! The oreo cheesecake was delicious but sadly that is were it ends. The peanut butter cookie was hard and had to be microwaved when returning home. The pineapple upside cake was a soggy, sticky mess and the tiramisu was extremely too sweet. In the end, My Sweet Lilly was worth the try but nothing spectacular!
Our first time at My Sweet Lilly! The owner and staff were so friendly. The macarons are to die for! Customer service and sweet deliciousness all rolled into one. Totally worth jumping out of the car and running around the block to make it before they closed. We will be back!
