Pho Minh - the best tasting Pho in Pittsburgh! This is a small unassuming restaurant on Penn Ave that is huge in flavor and value. The beef pho (#14) broth is amazing with complex flavors and just the right amount of acidity. We added the entire plate of toppings. The grilled pork with spring roll over rice noodles (#43) was also tasty. A colorful, satisfying, inexpensive and delicious meal. The menu has many options and it is vegan friendly.

I think they serve the best pho in the region. Not a fancy place but the taste is exceptional. Love it!Bring cash and check their calculation.

Updating my review from 6 years ago. This place is garbage now. Prepare for no table service in evening....rude racist owner....over priced ....I'll never go back.. They forced me to get take out even tho they are open for table service now. Long time customer....gone ?This is very authentic pho! Extremely friendly family business, the kind of place you feel great about patronage. The broth is homemade & the ingredients are fresh. It's also the price Pho SHOULD cost, not the higher priced American fusion pho on the other side of Penn Ave. If you know good pho & want a no frills great hot bowl of healthy happiness this is your spot!!

Pho Minh is back to in person dining, and me and my friend went around 6 PM for dinner. We got the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious and I got a beef pho. The broth was perfectly flavored and light and I appreciated the amount of green onions. Definitely will be back to try other things.Note: this restaurant is cash only

Arrived at 8:05 in a Wednesday evening … no one was there to greet customers. A few minutes later, a woman rudely barked out that they were about to close. She really didn’t have to be nasty about it.

I hadn't been here since before the pandemic. I got pho with well-done beef to go and it was excellent, and cheap. Packaged well and they even gave me sriracha and hoisin to go, along with all the other pho necessaries. Very tasty broth and a lot of beef!

Yum!!!! I had an excellent bun dish, my friend enjoyed her pho. Looking forward to going back
Ordered 2 phó and was told that after ordering, they only take cash. Had to ask where an ATM was because I don't carry cash, and I'd finish my order if I was able to pay. She was then incredibly rude about our order changing after I had to walk back from the ATM because they didn't have one in the restaurant, and I had decided to change my order. It's too bad that the one order I did pay for and received after arguing was incredible because the customer service was abysmal.

Great pho every time, great rice dishes. No frills, sure, but what they have is great. Always fast too.

This little hole in the wall is the best pho in Pittsburgh!!! I highly recommend it ! Plus it’s cheaper than most of the places in this city and it’s consistently good.

Love any of the pho options, ( #19 especially) and #4 for crispy, moist spring rolls with sauce good enough to drink. They are cash only so you'll need the greenbacks. Make sure to call ahead and not place your order at the counter. Wonderful small business that Pgh is very fortunate to have!
