I've been to Primanti Bros all over: Altoona, Monreoeville, Greensburg, Johnstown, Indianapolis, etc. None of them come close to the Pittsburgh city locations. Specifically the strip and market square.

Typical primantis food. Consistent & quintessential pittsburgh fair. We went during lunch on a weekend so it was really busy but we didn't wait for a seat and the staff was hustling. Every hand was on deck getting food out as quickly as possible.

Place had potential and I was looking forward to it. In the end I felt let down as the good was mediocre at best. I think it was the fact everything was cold. Had it been served hot I think it would have been a more enjoyable experience. The fried pickles were cold enough that the coating was falling off in chunks so all you ended up with was a pickle out of the jar. The burger has fries in it which the patty and the fries were both cold. It is not a place I would rush back to.

Good food, low on staff when I was there. Bathroom looked like it fit the Pittsburgh bar scene.

Good lunch or dinner spot downtown. Stopped over lunch, like many tines before. The party of 8 was served quickly, but some items were missed. I had the Italian sausage, tasty as usual!Still has that one sketchy commode in the men's room. But I guess that's tradition :)Good all around. Go if you haven't in a while.

Terribly understaffed, but also the staff don’t care. Took us 20 minutes to simply ask for a table despite being the first group in line because the server kept avoiding us.Forgettable sandwiches. The bread is bad, and the deli meats are just okay. The kosher pickle is a joke, practically a cucumber.Would not return

Had a great time at Primanti Bros, our server was super cool and very friendly. We got 6 tall boy sandwich’s and they came out pretty great, the wings were also 79 cents Sunday and Monday so we cashed in on the deal and they were great. I recommend the buffalo ranch wings and KBBQ. Rueben was very good but I recommend getting the fires on the side as it kinda dilutes the taste. Overall great service for our table of seven people.
