Convenient location near the Pitt campus. It basically feels the same as the other location nearby at Squirrel Hill. It's a simple counter service place and you just order at the window. You can sample as many flavors as you like and the servers are really nice. There isn't any seating nearby so I just ate my dessert while walking. This time I tried the chocolate custard. The chocolate flavor was quite strong. I think I prefer vanilla because you can taste the creamy milk flavor a lot better. I also got a cup of Italian ice with one of their rotating flavors. I don't remember the full name, but it has the word Ocean in it. It's supposed to be a mix of a whole bunch of summer fruit flavors, though watermelon stood out the most. So refreshing for a hot day! There's also edible glitter which becomes more obvious as some of the ice melts away. The large cup is really huge and was quite hard for even two of us to finish.

I had the Misto shake with blue raspberry and mango vanilla my husband had a the Concrete with cookies and cream My daughter had the concrete cookies and cream as well!. They are til 9pm.

Italian ice is such a great treat! The new Ice Flight is the perfect way to try multiple different flavors and share. My favorite was the mango-orange. The service was fast, and the location is conveniently located on Fifth by the bus stop

I ordered the green apple gelati on a whim, and it was life changing. The green apple ice was so tart. The custard was so creamy. And the caramel? Nothing more needs to be said. Perfect combination for a beautiful early fall day!

Great Italian ice! My favorite flavors are the mango and the strawberry mango. My only complaint is that some of the other flavors taste a little artificial which I don't love. The sizes are good and added ice cream to any Italian ice is a must!
Love this place, Pina colada Gelato is a must try with fresh chunks of pineapple!

It was sooo hot yesterday that I had to go and get something that would cool me down! No wait and really was worth the price point, got the sugar free dragon fruit ice and it was surprisingly good, I would get it again and the staff were very kind and helpful with my selection!
