Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.

Everyone enjoyed the evening. Phenomenal server! For the most part meal was very good. One entree wasn't up to snuff: $60 for lamb chops that were tough, more like mutton than lamb. Couldn't get the knife through the meat!Almost inedible and would never reorder this dish. Servings a tad small considering prices. After tax and tip with shared bottle of wine, bill exceeded $210 for 2 persons so should be flawless. Having stated the negative we do think we would return.

Coming back for the pasta - wish I had ordered more! Still one of my favorites over the last few years.Bread - I appreciate the flaky sea salt. It did not come with olive oil.Polpette - 6 meatballs with good texture. Enough marinara for your bread.Agnolotti - Wonderfully handmade pasta. We shared, but I wish I hadn’t. The best sausage-like filling and velvety chicken broth sauce.Costoletta d’Agnello - Perfectly medium rare lamb chops with the right amount of seasoning. Foam was a little flat, but the dijon mustard sauce goes will with everything on the plate. The duck was not on the menu, so this was my second choice.Tiramisu - Classic and beautiful. Required.Spiced Almond Oil Cake - Balanced almond flavors with great texture. I appreciate the house made whipped cream. I usually don’t like cake, but I would eat this again.

Senti is my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. The food is always delicious and perfect. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. If you want to show visitors and friends a true gem of our city. Go to Senti.

The food was fabulous. Excellent focaccia (no charge, at a time when a lot of places are charging $5 for a non-refillable serving of bread), excellent appetizer plate of cheese, meats and pickles (though a few more crostini would not go amiss), great fried artichoke appetizer, delicious lasagna, rigatoni all a Norma, and rack of lamb. Thank you, too, for attentive service and great mixed drinks! The only complaint we had was that our corner was dark (the waiter apologized, so they know) and the acoustics were terrible. The noise made the evening significantly less enjoyable than it otherwise would be. Maybe some curtains or tapestries on that long wall?

Senti is a must if you're looking for authentic Italian food in Pittsburgh! The seasonal menus never fail to have something to please everyone's tastes. The desserts are outstanding, and the owner's expert wine recommendations are the perfect complement to any meal.

Senti is always consistent -- and consistently GOOD!! We shared the appetizer meat and cheese tray which had some of their best selections ever (didn't leave a morsel on the plate). I had the short rib with polenta - perfectly done, and one of my favorites. My wife had the red snapper special, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. We shared the apple custard tart to end another great meal!! And, yet once more, I praise and thank everyone at Senti for doing it right!

Fantastic meal from start to finish. Service was on point without being intrusive Appetizers were fantastic (Fried Artichokes were amazing) Main courses of the charts good (Best short rib dish I ever had. House made Gnocchi with a pork sausage sauce and fresh pesto was also amazing. Wine was really solid Desserts and Tiramisu Martinis to finish the night was really great too (had Tiramisu and Chocolate Bread Pudding) Overall 5 stars

We had a wonderful evening with Franco and Holly at Senti. Chef Antonio had great specials including the delicious Veal Saltimbocca. My favorite is the house-made Veal & Pork Agnolotti with butter/thyme sauce. Holly made sure we had the perfect drinks and wine to accompany our dinners. Grazie!

The duck breast is outstanding. The beet salad is highly overpriced for what is served. While previously olive oil came with the bread, It appears that now one needs to ask for it.

We visited Senti for the first time on Valentine's Day. Our drinks were good, but nothing noteworthy. The appetizer we ordered had octopus and it was chewy and not tender. For dinner we ordered the Ravioli De Carne and Gnocchi. Both dishes really lacked seasoning and were bland. The highlight of the evening was the strawberry mousse dessert. It was absolutely delicious! Overall the experience left us feeling disappointed. An expensive evening, which did not meet our expectations.

This place was outstanding. Perfect for a larger get together. The staff was amazing, food was reasonable for every budget, and the table was set beautifully. We really appreciate all of you.
