My girlfriend and I went here not sure what to expect, but we had a great time. Our host for our booking was very kind and explained the rules of how curling worked and worked with us to teach us how to properly throw. He also helped us keep score. He was very encouraging and kind and made our experience fun. The rinks were groomed nicely-not like the olympics but for a local curling venue-was very pleased. My group had a fantastic time at Slider's Ice curling located in Millvale, PA. The ice area was located at the rear of the building and was attached to the existing structure which regularly houses axe throwing and a large bar area. Our group ordered pizza and had it delivered to the location, so I assume that food service is not an option from this facility.
