Soba provides a memorable experience to share dinner and great conversation with a friend. After beautifully crafted cocktails, we enjoyed the Chopped Salad and Crispy Tofu. The visual artistry and flavor bomb of the Chocolate Maki is simply devine.

I've finally been able to try this place after hearing about it - it definitely lived up to the hype. Best Asian-fusion choices I've seen that are unique, flavor-forward with a comfort food feel. Matt the bartender was excellent, very attentive and help guide me through my first experience with great tips & recommendations - Will definitely be back & can't wait !

Simone was wonderful! We were there to celebrate a birthday and she was great at checking in to make sure everything was okay, she answered all of our many questions about gift cards and beverages, really great service that made the night feel very special. Thank you Simone!

Food was delicious. Service was Ok. I checked in a little early, but was able to get seated since the table was ready, so that was good and happy that they read the special requests when booking online through OpenTable

Love coming here and showing all my friends this hidden gem. The food is always phenomenal and the ambiance is warm and relaxed. Another bonus is the music, they play a good mix of genres. Service is quick and attentive. Definitely try out Soba if you're considering.

Our waiter was not great, he seemed annoyed and not very helpful. Wasn't familiar with the liquor at the bar and was not very patient. We had a 6 pm seating so it was not busy when we arrived.

Always a pleasure to eat at soba. The restaurant never disappoints. For the first time I ate the teriyaki salmon and it was prepared perfectly. Thank you Big Buritto for its consistent quality on so many levels.

Soba is a whole vibe. Every spot in this place brings something different to your meal and cocktails! I literally dream about the drunken noodles, bao buns, and the crispy tuna rice. The service was on point and everything else followed. Will be back!

Thank you for accommodating our party of 8 people for yesterday's dinner, and for communicating with us about the specifics of our reservation. Since it was an important event for us, the extra communication from SOBA managers was highly appreciated. Everything went well.

We’ve come here for years, and generally really like it. Tables for 2 in the main dining area are really hit or miss, with many feeling like undergrad night on Valentine’s Day (where the restaurant has crammed some extra tables in to accommodate the crowd). And so after a couple of times being seated right on top of another couple or two we started just sitting in the bar area where the tables and vibe are nicer. Unfortunately, it seems those are now reservable too with reservations but I don’t see how you can guarantee which place you’ll be in. Last night, we went and it was fine, but we were seated on this awkward couch thing that made my back hurt. I asked a couple times about moving, and they said they’d move us when a table opened up, but many tables opened up and they never did move us. So, idk, maybe I’ll try again with reservations and ask for one of the tables in the bar.

Soba was great. I came here for a date and ordered the crispy tofu small plate. It had jalapeño peppers on it, and I actually was sweating a bit for the first time since coming to Pittsburgh. Fuck this city and it's bland ass food. Anyways it was also very flavorful with this crispy sweet chili oil crumbles and it was great. I also was sitting on my phone and thought I dropped it, and the waitress helped me look for it and kept asking around before I realized I was sitting on it. So that was nice. The bathrooms are also nice and bamboo ish if you're into that. My dates food was good but it was a lot of rice in the bowl compared to other toppings. Overall it was an excellent experience with a great ambiance. Maybe next time I'll try some more plates and a non alcoholic drink (of which they offered many) to round out the meal!

We love Soba! So many great options with large and small plates. It is beautiful space and the noise level is low so you can enjoy talking with friends. Service was excellent and the food was great. Lychee martini is one of my favorites

Food was incredible. Amazing flavor, great texture, just enough heat. Highly recommend the fried tofu! Our waiter was well informed, helpful and friendly. We'll definitely go back!

My partner and I visited for Valentine's Day - the dinner started off with great service from Garrett, and it continued through the rest of the evening. We both enjoyed a glass of our favorite mid range champagne (Veuve Cliquot), and split a california roll (I've never had the pleasure of enjoying one with REAL crab meat and it did not dissapoint). For entrees, we split the Short Rib Curry and Salmon dishes and both were as magical as the last. The real highlight of the evening was how kind every FOH service member was from entering the building until leaving. Garrett did a wonderful job walking us through the menu and made sure the experience was top notch from the beginning of service until dessert, he was so kind wishing us well upon payment and departure. Will be back for our next romantic celebration!
