What a great afternoon we had at Southern Tier Brewing Co. We were visiting from Baltimore before a Pirates game. Our waitress, Amanda was awesome!!! It was quite busy but it felt like we were her only customers. The drinks and food were great. Will definitely come back when we visit again!

Great overall experience at the Southern Tier Brewery.Excellent location just blocks from the Allegheny/Ohio Rivers and the lovely scenic waterway.Great environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area includes a beer-garden style space with lots of picnic-style benches. Lovely for when it gets warmer during the spring, summer and fall months.Wide assortment of beer as expected. Prices were fair, averaging about $6-8 per beer depending on the type. Had a few beers...all of which were good.Daily specials available including half-price appetizer Tuesdays! I had the pulled-pork nachos which were a bit underwhelming...kind of just threw some things, including cold pulled-pork, on top of nachos...not the best. I hope to return to try some other food options...as some others looked good.Staff were all awesome. Bartenders were very attentive, efficient and friendly.Hope to return when I am in the area again.

I was double charged last night…When ordering my meal, the bartender insisted on holding my credit card. I told her I wanted to pay with cash. She stated I could, but she needed to hold my card. Upon finishing my meal, I paid for my stuff with cash (and gave the bartender a decent tip)….And I still have a pending transaction from this restaurant. How?

Our visit started off a little rocky. We sat down and it took 15 minutes for someone to see us. Colin, who wasn't supposed to be our server, jumped in to help us and was great. We showed up and sat outside with our 4 kids. After the delay he was prompt with the service, polite and make for a great visit. We will definitely come back because of him. Great job Colin!
