Spoonwood is a great spot for just about any outing. Great selection of beer and a nice variety of food options. The restaurant has a nice open layout with outdoor seating available in the nice months. We've been here a few times and always seem to have friendly and personable servers which makes a nice evening. I'd rate the place higher but I do feel the prices are a bit too high.

easy on-site parking, large spacious indoor & outdoor area, service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming- lots of options on tap, ample variety for style preference- our waitress had let us know we couldn't try samples unless we ordered a beer- which didn't really make sense since the idea was determining what to buy- we arrived in time for HH ($5any beer)- opted for a few of the IPAs- all the beer we tried was 4-5stars! great flavor profiles: Killer Diller- great base IPA, hazy crisp and juicy Wishing Machine- very cloudy creamy Espresso Change-o-rich coffee cream with a backend haze Rye Demise-average dank rye Reach Out Touch Haze- creamy haze with dank bitterness pop Secret Alphabet-good balance of orange hazy pop and hearty spice kick was a great place to hangout & relax; would recommend (priced off HH are pretty reasonable as well)

The spoonwood always has some really good beers on tap. They also have some really good eats. I especially love the pulled pork nachos. The service is always really good. I like the fact it is an open airy atmosphere, and they have an outdoor area as well.

We are long time fans of the food, beer, and service, but the atmosphere turned us off today. So. Many. Small. Loud. Roaming. Children. It is a popular brewery for young families, so if that type of noise is not what you're in the mood for, be warned!

Love this place! However if you bring a large table of kids… They need to be supervised. The adults at the next table allowed their kids to scream repeatedly and throw things without keeping them under control. It was not a pleasant experience for us.
